Basic Reverb, Delay only applied to solo sounds portion.

-------------------------

A premium collection of analog tones for the Sequential Fourm, inspired by darker, nocturnal soundscapes. This collection merges vintage character with a distinct modern edge, designed to deliver a colder, more atmospheric aesthetic perfect for synthwave, darksynth, cinematic, cyberpunk, and other simlar productions.

Every patch is deeply immersive, providing a brooding tone that immediately feels as though it belongs in the backdrop of a dystopian film or an atmospheric underground track.

Designed for maximum expression, this pack fully utilizes the hardware's dynamic capabilities. By heavily integrating velocity, the modulation matrix, and poly-aftertouch into every sound, these sounds allow you to shape and draw out unique elements, perfect for generating evolving, highly textured soundscapes that respond directly to your performance."

Dust Takes - 64 Presets for Sequential Take 5 - Sound Pack Demo

video upload by Jogging House

"Dust Takes is a collection of 64 handmade ambient presets for the Sequential Take 5 synthesizer: https://jogginghouse.com/products/dus...

As the name implies, the presets lean towards a nostalgic, dreamy, lofi and atmospheric sound, but you can use them in any gerne.

All sounds have a fully mapped mod matrix to generate lots of subtle movement. So when you hold a key down for a while, there usually is something happening over time.

There are expressive controls mapped on each sound. Turning the mod wheel, applying pressure/aftertouch or playing the keys with different velocities will affect the sounds.

Each preset also has two effects dialed in to enhance what makes it special."

He put £15000 of Synths into SERUM and Pigments

video upload by Starsky Carr

"I sampled the Frap out of a Magnolia, an Analogue Solutions Maximus, a Pittsburgh Taiga, a Pittsburgh Voltage Lab 2, a Sequential Prophet VS, a Korg DW8000 and a Novation Peak — then chopped them into single cycle waves and turned them into 151 wavetables for Serum and Pigments.

£15,000 is roughly what those seven instruments would cost you, give or take. The pack is £15.

What's different here is what got sampled: full sweeps through the Magnolia's wavefolder, the Voltage Lab 2's complex oscillators, PWM across its whole range, the DW8000's 16 digital waves, the Prophet VS set. Not generic waveshapes — the actual character of specific, expensive, awkward instruments.

It started with a comment. Someone watched my Magnolia demo and asked how to get that tone out of their Peak. The short answer is you can't, because the oscillators don't start with the same harmonics. The long answer is this video.

Along the way I've used it as an excuse to go through the different ways a synth actually makes a tone — subtractive, FM, wavefolding and wavetable — and why the Magnolia can do three of them and the Peak can do the fourth. If you've ever wondered what people mean by East Coast and West Coast synthesis, start at 1:18."

3:36 Subtractive synthesis, and why it's called East Coast
5:09 FM: harmonics that aren't related to the fundamental

8:38 Three synthesis types in one synth — the Magnolia
9:09 Wavetable synthesis, and the one thing the Peak can do
10:08 The comment that started all this

Sequential Fourm - Chaos - The Song!

video upload by kgbirmingham media

"I just recently purchased a Sequential Fourm and I wanted to create a “Song” using only Fourm Presets. So, I laid down six tracks, using six Fourm Presets. I ran the Fourm through a TC Electronic Plethora (Chorus, Delay, Reverb) and played around with the Filter, Noise, ARP and Amp Envelope.
This is the final 'Song' from a 'Making Of' type video. I put 'Song' into quotes, because it is rather cacophonous. Anyway, I like the variations of tone, structure and noises!
Enjoy!
For the Techies
There’s not much to say about the tech. I recorded the narration directly into my DAW - Fender Studio Pro 8. I used an AKG 414B microphone running through an ART TransX Preamp into an Allen&Heath ZEDi10 Interface/Mixer. I recorded six tracks all created on the Sequential Fourm using Factory Presets.
The signal chain is fairly straightforward: Fourm, into TC Electronic Plethora X3 (stereo output), into a pair of SSL SixChannels, into a Drawmer MQ-2 EQ/Compressor/Saturator, into a Lindell 77X Compressor and into an Allen&Heath ZEDi10 Interface/Mixer and recorded in stereo directly into my DAW (Fender Studio Pro).
Processing was limited to Waves L1 Limiter, Beyerdynamic Headphone Lab and UADx Manley Variable Mu Compressor. No Reverb. No Delay. Do Effects in the DAW
Everything was recorded through an Allen&Heath ZEDi10 and into Fender Studio Pro 8.
Video:
Fujifilm X-T3 camera with Fujifilm 10-24mm lens and iPhone 17. And, OBS studio for the screen shot. The final video was edited in DaVinci Resolve.
Recording and monitoring was through an Allen&Heath ZEDi10 with Beyerdynamic DT990 Pro and Beyerdynamic Headphone Lab.

Soniccouture Releases The Attic3 - Rare Synth Collection

The Attic 3 Preset Tour video upload by

The Attic 3: Product Tour video upload by Soniccouture

"A sonic tour of some of the 600 presets in Soniccouture's The Attic 3 VST synth collection."

The Attic 3 is a collection of 24 different quirky electronic oddities. Because these days you can buy a knock-off of every classic synth there is, instead Soniccouture dig around the margins of music production history for the rare or the forgotten.

Analogue pianos, funky organs, glassy digital boxes, vocal synths, string machines. Soniccouture sample every single key, then model the filters and envelopes. This gives a unique imprint of the vintage character in a way that code-based software synths can’t."

Sequential Fourm - He bought the Sequential Fourm, for the wrong reasons, and you may want to too!

video upload by kgbirmingham media

Don't miss the videos below. Also see Sequential Fourm - The Non Prophet Presets by kgbirmingham media.

"I traded in my Roland MC-707 for a Sequential Fourm. And, I did it for all the wrong reasons!
This video is different than my usual music videos. I needed a synth that was simple to use, could be a Polyphonic Aftertouch Controller for my ASM Hydrasynth and horror of all horror had MiniKeys.
So, this is why I bought the Sequential Fourm and why you may want to too!
Enjoy!
For the Techies
There’s not much to say about the tech. I recorded the narration directly into a Zoom R4 and transferred it to my DAW - Fender Studio Pro 8.
The background music is five tracks all created on the Sequential Fourm using Factory Presets.
The signal chain is fairly straightforward: MC-707, into a pair of SSL SixChannels, into a Drawmer MQ-2 EQ/Compressor/Saturator, into a Lindell 77X Compressor and into an Allen&Heath ZEDi10 Interface/Mixer.

Sequential Fourm - For All The Wrong Reasons - The Song!

video upload by kgbirmingham media

"Sequential Fourm – For All The Wrong Reasons – The Song!
When I shot my Sequential Fourm video 'For All The Wrong Reasons' I created a background music track using only the Sequential Fourm for that video.
It is short, but I like it, so I put it together with some video on a misty day from Marie Curtis Park.
Enjoy!

1 - A New Legend, 44 - Ryan Reverse, 69 - Sin Cussion, 72 - PluckyArp, 42 - Mini Prophet

1982 Sequential Circuits Prophet 10 Overview

video upload by Wannit BBBad

"I am the original owner of this 1982 Sequential Circuits Prophet 10. I sold to a friend years ago and am now posting this video for him. The P10 has the original MIDI kit sold by Wine Country installed and includes the two original CV pedals and original momentary pedal for sustain or program increment. There are plenty of videos that do deep dives on the Prophet 5 and Prophet 10, so I primarily just want to quickly hit on all of the functions working and point out some of the things that make this much more than two Prophet 5 synths."

Sequential Circuits Prophet 10 Control Voltage Pedals

video upload by Wannit BBBad

"Here's a short video of some of the flexibility added to the 1982 Sequential Circuits Prophet 10 performance using the factory Control Voltage (CV) pedals. Pedal 1 can be assigned to any combination of Freq A, Freq B, Filter, Amp, and Mono-Mod. Pedal 2 can be assigned to Filter and Amp. Pedal 1 and Pedal 2 simultaneously control both Prophet 5 boards."

BOARDS OF CANADA - 1986 Summer Fire (COVER - Prophet REV2)

video upload by nicola neeco

"1986 Summer Fire: the last track of Boards of Canada’s Twoism EP.

For this cover I used only my Sequential Prophet Rev2, trying to get as close as possible to that warm, slightly worn-out synth tone from the original.

I’m a huge fan of Boards’ short tracks and interludes, the ones that sit between the “proper” songs. To me, some of their real gems are hidden there: small sketches that say more in 30 seconds than whole albums do.

This is my little tribute to one of those moments."

Sequential Fourm - The Non Prophet Presets

video upload by kgbirmingham media

"Sequential Fourm – The Non-Prophet Presets
I almost didn’t buy the Fourm, because most of the demos I watched focused on the “Prophet Sound,” which is great, but I was hoping for more versatility then that.
When I got it home and went through all the Factory Presets, I soon discovered that it is a very versatile synth with lots of character and it is quite capable of producing Non-Prophet Sounds!
So, the following are a whole bunch of Non-Prophet sounds, with a few classics put in, just because.
I did not apply any effects and the only plug-in I used was a Limiter.
Enjoy!
For the Techies
Here is the list of Presets.
