"So I've been busy working on this little home made synth, it's gotten to a point where it's doing enough to show you all. Here is the low down.

1. 16 step sequencer
3. LCD info screen
2. Saw and Square wave
3. Adjustable gate
4. Adjustable Tempo
5. Adjustable Tone
6. Switchable high pass and low pass filter.

Best part is I have a circuit board on it's way and it all fits on a board about 1.5 inch by 3.5 inch so very small!

Plan on adding a few more things.
1. Line out (Pretty much just a headphone out right now)
2. Saw works but a bit funky gotta fix the code.
3. Presets (I hope)
4. Indicator for what step you are on.
5. Adjustable filter
6. I have a version where you can set the gate individually for each note, but I just prefer the over all gate, might try to make it switchable but the code at the moment is glitchy.

The resampling function are the main highlight of this sampler, since you can resample over and over adding FX enabling unlimited sound creation abilities. The trigger pads are touch sensitive and they all work very responsively, making pattern and drum loop entry a breeze. The sequence has 16 tracks, and there are 100s of internal ROM sounds to get you going. The ASR-X PRO is equipped with a SCSI interface which can be used to add samples from a PC/MAC or from external SCSI devices (ZIP, CDROM etc.)

"I’ve always admired classically-styled modular instruments, particularly the ones sold by synthesizers.com. But my aversion to having to tear apart a cool-sounding patch to create the next one ensures that I’m unlikely to ever buy a true patchable analog modular.

So, here’s a modular synthesizer for Reaktor, based on modules available from synthesizer.com. It’s designed to fit in a 44-module walnut cabinet. A few of the modules are modified or enhanced to suit my whims. The modules included are:

Module inputs are visualized as drop-down menus which display the available module outputs. Modules don’t consume CPU cycles unless actually used.

The operating voltages mimic synthesizers.com modules. For example, oscillator outputs swing between +5 and -5 volts, and envelope generator peak voltages are +5 volts.

There are no LFOs. In the style of synthesizers.com instruments, oscillators double as LFOs.

Playing modes include polyphonic, monophonic legato, and monophonic retrigger. Monophonic and polyphonic portamento are built into the pitch controller.

Four assignable MIDI busses are included.

Two extra mod matrix outputs are available (labeled Extra1 and Extra2) so that two additional modules can be added to the system without having to modify the mod matrix."
