JayB's patches for Roland V-Synth XT

YouTube via Hanni13579
"This is a demonstration of a few patches I made on the V-Synth XT. I don't know when and whether I'm going to release the bank (except one of you wants to have the incomplete package so far). However, enjoy. And don't mind asking questions.

The sound names can be read on the V-Synth's display I hope. All sequences used in songs are written down in the video. All other sequences are improvised. Don't ask for sontitles then.
Okay, "Madness Ld3" uses "In the Hall of the Mountain King" by Edvard Grieg - in a possible Hard Trance Remix. :D"

Dave Smith Instruments Tetra Pink Floyd's "On The Run"

YouTube via djthomaswhite
"Here is a sample of how the Dave Smith Instruments Tetra Synthesizer can be programmed by the user to make 4 individual sounds at once (multitimbral) and easily using the free interface software via a simple USB cable. 4 voices are presented here:

Voice 1: Classic Pink Floyd arpeggiattor pattern (E3, G3, A3, G3, D4, C4, D4, E4)
Voice 2: Hi Hats pattern (should be 16 beats, can only do 8 with Tetra)
Voice 3: Doppler Effect Space Ship with modwheel pitch bend
Voice 4: Analog Squishiness (could've done this better, but it was 98 degrees in the studio today)

All voices come together to provide a nice simulation of a classic song that has inspired many since 1973 to get into synthesizers. Not bad for one analog synth. Now go try that on your Prophet 5 (just kidding... seriously, it was a joke). The Prophet 5 is the b e s t s y n t h . . . E V E R (also JK on this one).

Thanks for stopping by and checking out another one of my videos. More to come and, as always, check out www.naturalrhythmmusic.com for more about me and my music."

Wurlitzer EP200 Clip

YouTube via neutronemission
"A short clip of my Wurlitzer EP200 run through a EH Small Stone phase shifter into a small bass amp, with a Jupiter-6 droning on string duty.

This Wurlitzer (from 1972) needs a lot of work sounds really weak and lifeless without the aid of a outboard preamp, but even a worn out Wurlie sounds pretty amazing in my book.

I added the film projector sound just for the sake of fun.

SDSV Simmons Electronic drums with Hart Dynamics MultiPad SDS5

YouTube via MrRitchieDrums. via these auctions
"One of the first electronic drum mudules triggered by a modern Hart Dynamics multipad. This video demonstrates how a vintage synth can be portable enough to fit in with acoustic drum sets. A MultiPad on a stand, SDSV Simmons brain and some cables. Easy to transport and set-up........."
