Sequential Circuits Prophet-5 Analog Synthesizer Rev3.3

via this auction

"Model 1000 Rev 3.3. Serial # 1000-5732. Mint working condition. Serviced by Wine Country Sequential in San Jose, CA within the past 30 days. The unit went through a thorough diagnostic check at Wine Country Sequential in August 2009, by some of the original technicians from Sequential Circuits. The back-up battery was replaced and a new RAM IC board was installed, along with the original 120 factory preset programs. All 61 rubber keystops for the keyboard were replaced with new ones. The playing action is beautifully liquid now. A regulatory reliability modification was also done (regulator connection was reinforced with J-wires to prevent damage during transport). This was highly recommended by the Wine Country technician.

This unit looks, sounds, and plays phenominal. It has the following features:
* 120 editable factory presets with incredible sounds ranging from pianos and organs to string and brass instruments
* 5 polyphonic voices (each voice contains 2 voltage-controlled oscillators)
* Separate pitch and modulation wheels
* Analog (5 pin) and Digital (4 pin) system interface connection jacks
* Four jacks for monophonic digital sequencer interface connections
* Release footswitch jack
* 115V electric supply"

"waldorf, blofeld, korg, kp3, microx

Mostly a blofeld track composed of my usual sounds I designed, i played around alil with some microX strings and voices which sound pleasant
again, the over use of Cm and ping pong delay
please check out my myspace aswell, www.myspace.com/harmonicdimension"

vtol "Stethoscopic"

"Tracks that are on this record claim musicianship no more than birds may with their singing - sound is nothing but a product of objective reality, captured on
record, representing a loosely structured harmony of motion

this work is a sort of abstract, intimate observation of my studio, which is also a workshop where I work on my self-made synthesizers

i just let several devices run freely, almost without intervening in the process of sound extraction, but rather taking on the role of an observer, or even a witness"

You can download the album and check out a couple of tracks here. See the vtol label below for prior posts featuring vtol's devices.
