"Two Loops in Live. Sync-Lock driving Elektron Machine Drum. Easy to hear how well the DAW Audio and the external hardware lock together. Snare Track live improvisation is a good example."

Commercial music 5 Recording the Mellotron tubular bells

YouTube via RothHandle
"Today was an interesting day in the studioBoth me and Matti were feeling quite beat up after the premiere of Bröderna Lejonhjärta this last Saturday. But that didnt stop us from starting work on a new projectmusic for a commercial.

We have seen some very inspiring photos from the campaign and mad some music inspired from the pictureswe made two different things. One rhythmic and veryodd. And one that is a bit more atmospheric and pretty.

This film shows Matti overdubbing the Mellotron Tubular bells.

This little video was shot at Roth Händle studios in Stockholm. This is where I record and produce artists. If you are curious to find out more about the studio please visit
www.roth-handle.nu it hasnt been updated for ages but you might find some info of interest for you.

Thanks for watching,

Mattias"

MOTM Eurorack Morphing Terrarium Prototype

Scope is in X/Y mode, and as I krank to LFO, phase/vector shifting madness ensues. The wigglyness is known as Lissajous patterns.

Cool person Robert Rich (check out his vids), who designed the wavetables for the module, explains as things go along."

Holy Terror - Buchla Track

"I turned my attention this Saturday once again to the 221, and after concentrating for some time on the touchplate surface itself, I settled upon the joystick - or 2D voltage source as it is described on the panel. The initial purpose was to try to develop accurate control when using it in instances where it affects pitch - that is to say where any mis/use might be easily distinguishable by the listener."

You can find the track and the rest of the write-up on fastheadache.
