"Extremly rare EMS TKS Sequencer Keyboard, 256 notes, similar to KS of the Synthi AKS suitcase. This is a very rare version for VCS3 mk2 or Synthi A with a very nice teak-type Danish looking wood cabinet. If you own a VCS3 MK1 old release, you can purchase an inexpensive power supply and modify a VCS3 jack to power the TKS."
"EMS Random Voltage Generator module (RVG) a good expansion for Synthi, very nice also for driving analog synthesizers and modular systems"
"vintage EMS DKII oscillator keyboard for VCS3, AKS , Synthi A (Mark 1 and 2) in excellent working and visual conditions... it has a built in oscillator for external modulations, the rear jack is the wave out."
"Vintage RSF Kobol Expander I (s/n: 13311) in excellent working and visual conditions. It's a monstrous analog semimodular synthesizer based on SSM2040 + SSM2050 IC's and Fairchild UA726. His sound is impressive, great basses and awesome filter!!! Also is possible to change all the waveforms by control voltage..."
Not sure if this is the official Electron Twitter account, but if it is I am flattered! ;) I just got the follow. If anyone knows, let me know. According to actuel in the comments, it is.
YouTube via keithmintage "Johnny Nash - I Can See Clearly Now Up and ticking again."
This one came in via Mikael Lindgren on the AH list: "This Johnny Nash song from 1972 is probably the first ever Reggea-influenced hit to feature the Moog modular synthesizer!?"
I never noticed it before. Listen to the end of the track for the filter sweeps.
Update via Mikael: "Yes, the rhythm brass chords were multi-tracked on a Moog modular (the one at Air Studios, UK). Fracis Monkman (Curved Air, SKY etc.) confimed this for me recenltly. Apparently it took an age to build up the synth parts. Francis also played the bass guitar on that song. It might have been George Martin's old Moog system but Francis wasn't sure."
YouTube via djyourgofromlelystad. tons more here "Groovebox and other stuff studio jam in da night...enjoy this shit..Groovin with my akai xr20 drummachine for the beats and drums, roland sp404 sampler for the voice sample and the roland mc307 for the synths and other sounds played on m-audio midikeyboard and mixed togethet on a cheap behringer djx 700 mixer.."
"Roland RS 505 , the ultimate analogue string synthesizer . Separate bass , synth section and of course strings give you a much wider palette of sound from which to create some wonderfully thick and rich classic analog sounds and very big bass sound! Comes with the fantastic sounding roland ensemble effect (stereo output) based on roland's dimension D chorus rack. External input enables you to plug in any instrument and use this great effect."
