Anyone remember why these were labeled SynthPlus? My first thought was they were meant to be home keyboard versions like the HS-60 version of the Juno-106, but the SynthPlus 10 does not have built in speakers.

PPC permits you to bend pitches sharp and flat, allowing you to simulate guitar string-bending techniques and enhancing the realism of voices like flute, saxophone, brass and other sounds of your own creation. The Axxe is also perfect for creating numerous bass voices, including acoustic, electric, funk and bowed bass, which are especially useful to the keyboardist who plays left hand bass. Though inexpensive, the Axxe uses the same high quality filten and oscillaton used in larger models. These components are world famous for their high stability and reliability under the most demanding circumstances. This one is being sold in Excellent condition and looks really good for its age. The LFO slider is broken off, but still works and is easily accesible with your finger. All the other sliders work correctly and are clean and noise free. There are some scratches in the edges of the black metal enclosure, and the black keys have some scratches on them. The original service manual is included, as is a bunch of supplemental documentation and information on how to use and create patches on this keyboard."

Major Star6 Update

"Here's what's new:
- Quantization, which keeps you on-beat when jumping between samples. You control when the jump occurs, anything from 1/16th of a beat to 4 full beats. Given that Star6 is all about jumping around among a set of samples, this makes a huge difference.

- The BPM control is right out front now, and includes a scrubbing interface for rapid BPM changes up/down.

- You now have the option for BPM changes to either vary or maintain pitch.

- Reset / un-reset toggling, which allows you to jump back and forth between the original sample and your all-munged-up version

- Major UI & usability improvements everywhere

- Many smaller tweaks like tap-to-BPM, the ability to download and automatically install sample packs from the www.Star6app.com website directly within your iPhone/iPod, and better sounding effects.

We think the result is about 2X more fun than Star6 1.0!
