VINTAGE HAMMOND RSM CONDOR HORN TROMBONE SYNTHESIZER

via this auction
"This vintage 1970 Hammond RSM Condor horn synthesizer by Innovex is in near mint condition. Originally used as a dealer demonstrator by the Hammond, Innovex salesman, it has not seen much use and is in excellent cosmetic condition. All features seem to work, but because of age, it has some static when turned on and will need to be serviced. Designed for use with horns, this one comes with the original King #29 trombone mouthpiece and pickup. Pickup could be retro-fiited to other horns or instruments. The pickup sends the note played to the synth which converts the horn sound to whatever sound tab or tabs are selected. Tabs are color coded and sliders are backlit with corresponding matching colors. 2 channels, channel one has four gold tabs for "voices" -- natural amplified, horn, oboe, and soprano sax. With the gold tabs, the same fundamental or natural pitch of the instrument is reproduced, with the exception of soprano sax, which is one octave higher. The second channel, blue tabs, one octave below the instrument's natural pitch, produce the voices of bass sax, tuba, bass clarinet, bassoon, English horn, and cello, plus dynamute and fuzz. There's also a sub-octave tab, which drops these blue voices to two octaves below natural pitch. Red tabs are special effects -- repeat, attack, vibrato-tremelo which operate on the blue and gold voices. Unit operates in stereo and mono. In stereo, blue voices are heard through one output channel, the gold voices from another. In the mono mode, the same signal is heard through both channels. Because vibrato and tremelo are different, this unit includes both, and each is adjustable in speed and intensity by using their slider controls. The repeat tab provides a reiteration of the tone, and its slider control varies the speed. A reset bar below the control tabs allows for a complete cancelation of all chosen sounds when depressed. Includes the custom-made dealer travel case and the original dealer promotional sales info kit in like new condition with three Innovex news release letters, three glossy pics, Condor color newsletters - volumes 1 and 2, the RSM operator's manual with blank warranty card intact, an article reprinted from the April 30, 1970 issue of Down Beat Music magazine, and dealer full color hand-out of Condor products, all in the cool black folder with gold Condor logo. Hard to find, especially in this condition. Makes a great addition to your horn sounds."

PEARL SC-40 Percussion Synth Drum Brain MIDI Module SN 170228

via this auction
"This is a rack mount Percussion Synthesizer, to be used as a main module for an electronic drum set with drum pads or triggers, or to use as an additional percussion module to trigger sounds via Midi! It is quite versatile, and the sounds are pretty amazing. This is really a drum synth, some very impressive sounds can be made with this unit. Not your typical snare / bass drum / tom sounds, though this has them as well, you can go make some REALLY wild synth effects with this!

Check the audio links at this page for some examples, very unique sounding percussion inside this.

Each voice is made up of first a digital Wave Generator, through Band Pass Filters, and through Envelope Generators. Highly tweakable through the menus."

slightly alternate shot to this old auction post.

Read the description carefully :)

"Never used - Moog Synth Synthesizer Keyboard Piano Pin - NEW - NEW pin. Still in plastic.

Note - This is a tie pin. Read the description carefully as people bid on these pins thinking they are real instruments which they are not! These are high quality metal tie pin reproductions of the original equipment - not cheap plastic toys repros! The dimensions are 1 1/4" long by 1/4" high."

Another Stocking Stuffer for the holidays.

VINTAGE'74 MOOG SYNTHESIZER CATALOG

via this auction
"Just in time for Xmas because this would make the perfect christmas present for that keyboard player in your life! Here is a vintage Moog synthesizer catalog, plus extras for sale. Just check out the 6 clear close-up super-size pictures to help describe this nice item.

I looked on ebay and under ~completed~ and their isn't a one of these on, we're talkin' seriously rare here! This unique shaped 8 page full color catalog opens up to an almost full size picture of the famous minimoog electronic synthesizer. The catalog is dated 1974 on the back side, Norlin product. What makes this listing even better is I'm throwing in two additional specification sheets (also in full color, double sided 8.5x11) featuring the micromoog and again the minimoog. Both of these items are clearly dated 1976. Last but not least, the icing on the cake is this listing also includes the very rare January 1, 1977 Moog Retail Price List with an awesome picture of Keith Emerson on the cover. 4 pages long and that minimoog wasn't cheap even back in 1977 at $1,795.00."
