"I was intending to get this done for Robert Moog’s birthday but didn’t quite get it finished in time. I took the basic MiniMoog layout and tried to pair it down as much as possible to get cute/miniature but still useable and recognizably Moog styled synth. This is the first time I have tried modelling a full 3D interface and I didn’t quite nail the look [Dan McPharlin synth art miniatures] I was after. It’s not quite finished yet as I had to overhaul all my previous GUI code to handle the 3D interface."

SUPPLICANT Shakedown (Official Music Video & Lyrics)

KORG MicroKORG
YouTube via StarpointeRecords — June 11, 2010 — "DON'T FORGET TO COMMENT, SUBSCRIBE AND LEAVE COMMENT !!! When we wrote Shakedown we were in a way channeling our past influences. We love the vintage synth sounds and bands. Many of them were huge in the early 80's and 90's. We wanted to tap into those influences and write a more light hearted, pop song. The video was actually the idea of our producer Finn Bjarson. He wanted to show in a way the differences from then and now in the seriousness of the music and the videos. It seems today we are much more serious and calculated when a song is produced or a video is made. It has to be for a certain audience or fit in a box of genre. We love the freedom of that era and wanted to try and recreate the feel and vibe from then in a sort of tribute to all those who came before. We will leave it up to all of you decide how well we have done."
