On the TSX: "The main objective behind this new pedal was to create one of the best sounding distortions for the TB-303. Guitar players, forget it, this is not for you."

"An Android application (called Silicon Oxide) that simulates an old analog, preset-based drum machine like the Korg Mini Pops 7, used in some synth classics from the 1970s. No samples used, all instruments are played using software-modeled oscillators, filters and envelope generators."

"Dedicated to my favorite sampler heheh the S-3200XL
It may not be the best sounding or even the best but it's my workhorse and I know it inside out...I would "upgrade" to a S-6000 but I don't like the OS that much after using a few. I would love some old EMU's but I don't have the patience right now to learn new gear or in any case need more gear! It's all about how you use it
If you have a sampler like this or similar (EMU E4/6400 etc) I beg you to dig deeper if you are not and start making your own synth/sound patches with them...these old dinosaurs are really good and much more intuitive than a PC..sound nicer too"
"While I was out and about today, I found an Alesis MMT-8 at a pawn shop for a ridiculously low price, so I had to get it and see what all the fuss is about. Interesting timing too since I've been listening to a lot of early 90's techno lately and this sequencer was used by so many musicians back then. So this is just a quick test video I threw together (nothing fancy at all going on here) with the MMT-8 handling the sequencing. Had a lot of fun doing this. The MMT-8 is very basic and no-frills, so you can whip up some interesting ideas fast with it.
