"Seven years ago today, Adam and I released our first product under the name Audio Damage, the Mayhem FX suite. In seven years, we've never had a sale or discount of any sort. We've fiddled with prices here and there, but as many have gone up as have gone down.
Today, on our seventh birthday, as a thank-you to all our customers for their continuing support, use the code MAYHEM at check-out in the Audio Damage store to receive 25% off your entire order.
This code will expire at midnight Pacific time on March 16th. Audio Damage store."

KOMA Elektronik - Development Video - Expression Controller

"### A Description mistake was made while rendering the movie. Instead of "A Vactrol...." it was supposed to say: "Total control over the functions of the KOMA Elektronik pedals with the onboard KOMA Elektronik Expression Controller!"
More information:
http://www.koma-elektronik.com (the official development blog)
All the pedals KOMA Elektronik will release in the fall of 2011 (KOMA BD101, KOMA FT201, KOMA HN104 & KOMA SH103) will have a special innovative expression controller built in which allows the musician to control all the features of the pedal by just moving their foot, hand or any other body part over the bottom of the pedal.
The CV signal of the onboard expression controller will be an output on the patchbay, which is also featured on all the pedals. This way the musican can control all the functions on the pedal without even touching the pedal! For instance, when you use our delay & Gating pedal, the KOMA BD101, you can control the LFO speed, gate amount, delay time & feedback of the effect, while playing your instrument! No need for external expression pedals anymore, with the KOMA FX pedal series it all comes in one package! Total control!

organfairy's first synthesizer - expander
YouTube Uploaded by organfairy on Mar 15, 2011

"After making the sequencer for my first synthesizer I am making an expander - a box with some extra filters and envelope generators.
Instead of just showing the building process I am gong into details about a simple VCA that I am using in this design. It is made using just a diode and a resistor so it is quite simple.
The music that goes with this video is something I made in 2004 on a Yamaha HE-8 organ, Roland JX-8P synthesizer, and Roland Rhythm Arranger analogue drum machine."

KORG DW 6000 HQ DEMO - SYNTHESIZER 1985
YouTube Uploaded by AnalogAudio1 on Mar 15, 2011
"The KORG DW-6000 "digital waveform synthesizer" came out 1985. DW stands for "digital waveform". Few months later, Korg presented an updated version, the DW-8000.
The KORG DW-6000 has 6 notes polyphony, 8 waveforms (including sawtooth, but no pulse or square, which is a pity), and superb 24db analog filters - one for every voice (unlike the Poly-800). There is also a chorus, which can be switched on or off. It has an UNISONO mode, which helps you to get fat basses. 2 envelope generators (ADBSSR). MIDI interface, SysEx abilities. Tape interface to load/store soundbanks.
The basic sound of the DW-6000 is somewhere between Poly-800 MK1 and DW-8000. To my ears it sounds more like a Poly-800.
You can produce some decent sounds with the DW-6000 - which you can't exactly duplicate on a DW-8000.
In this clip I played the DW-6000 dry, without any external effects.

THE SOUND PROGRAMS IN THIS MOVIE:
Do you have a DW-6000 and want to play with the powerful sounds you are hearing here? I will send you the "ANALOGAUDIO1 DW-6000 PATCH BANK" (64 sounds) via email for 12,99 Euros (through PayPal).
You will get a MP3 with sound data for the tape interface of your DW-6000. (How the tape interface works, is described in the manual of the DW-6000, which you can download for free somewhere in the internet).
The bank contains lush analog pads, great retro sounds, fat basses, sequencer sounds and funky leads (in one word: all you are hearing in this video and some more).
These sounds are mainly suited for electronica, techno pop, disco, dance, trance and classic electronic music (Jarre, Vangelis, etc..).
As an experienced synth player / programmer I programmed these special sounds carefully - these sounds are not available anywhere else!
The soundbank will not work with the DW-8000 / EX-8000.
If you are interested, please drop me a mail.

Also eine Art Frischzellenkur.
Synesthexia - more sounds of the Elka Synthex
YouTube Uploaded by wavebox2011 on Mar 15, 2011
"Some more sound experiments on the Elka Synthex, just for fun. As in "Synthenoxe part 1.0", all sounds except for the drums have been created on the Synthex. No Hammond Organs or Minimoogs have been harmed. :)
The video is just experimental, cuts and bits from public domain and creative commons footage. And better than a black screen, I guess.
Enjoy!"
