"This vintage Rhodes Chroma has been fully and meticulously restored by The AnalgoLab / Expert Audio Repair Service in New York City. Analog synth guru Jeff Blenkinsopp built a completely new power supply which is much more stable and reliable than the original one. (The original one failed, as they notoriously do.) The tuning is ultra stable on the instrument now ...for a complete description of what was done to the power supply, click on this link...

The instrument also comes with the original owners manuals and service manual, complete with schematics, and a fully functional J. L. Cooper Chromaface , which is a MIDI interface box made for the Chroma by JL Cooper. The MIDI works beautifully, as you can see in the video.

This is a rare instrument- only about 1,000 were ever made. It is one of the most unique and interesting of all the old analog machines as far as features go, ( see the video link above), and has the best action of any of them. The keys are made of wood, not plastic, and the weighted hammer action makes it feel like a real piano."

"This is a extremely rare piece Sonica synthesizer that absolutely does'nt come around too often, built by Frank Eventoff. Only 650 of these were ever made. Very few are now known to exist. The body is carved of mahogany, and has a plaque with the number (#172). It comes in a custom-sized case with power cord."
