"Moog released Animoog today as their first synthesizer on the iPad and I absolutely love it!
This video gives a brief overview of the Animoog's features and also shows how expressive it is when played with an Eigenharp Pico over MIDI using poly-pressure.
The Eigenharp and Animoog seems like a match made in heaven since the Eigenharp is able to send three independent detailed per-note performance data streams and the Animoog is able to react to this on a per-note level. Also, the visualization of the sound on the Animoog is marvelous, it gives a great representation of what your sound is doing.
The iPad is hooked up to my MacBook Pro using USB MIDI from the Alesis iODock, the Eigenharp Pico is also hooked up to the laptop and sends MIDI from the EigenD application to the 'dock' MIDI port. This uses a small MIDI-only Eigenharp Pico setup that loads very quickly and provides 16 MIDI playing keys with poly-pressure and three independent data streams for each key (pressure, left/right, up/down), as well as two 3D controller keys that are somewhat similar to little joysticks and are sending each three independent streams of MIDI CC data also."

"Presented here is the Tablebeast Modified Casio SK-1, model TB-SK01 mk II. Please be sure to note these keyboards are modified by hand one at a time and are MADE TO ORDER so may take up to a month to deliver. If you already have an SK-1, 5, or 8 I offer up to a $100 trade in credit for donor SK's based on condition. I have revised a few things from my original design and added some great features as well. Of course this new mkII model still has my original bending innovation, the 16 point RCA mod patchbay, but now it also has newly researched and revised mod points. In addition to that, other new mods include a filter switch that that bypasses the Casio filters and lets through a lot more high and low frequency content. This really opens up the sound, especially under mod and works great especially if you want to filter it on your own. I have also added a soft reset switch which is great for resetting the SK-1 quickly without having to turn it off completely and losing the sample in memory. There is also an advanced pitch control circuit with a built-in bypass switch and body contact for manual pitch adjustment. I have upgraded pretty much every part and aspect of my previous mk I mod plus I have done what no other SK-1 benders on ebay do: I perform a full recap of the SK-1's electrolytic capacitors. I recap the SK-1 with high quality Nichicon audio grade electrolytic capacitors for long life, lowered noise floor, and a better overall tone. The recapping really makes a significant sonic difference. It also extends the life of the SK-1 for another couple of decades as electrolytic capacitors start to go bad after about 20 years or so. Considering these guys were originally made in the 80's, without the recap the clock would be ticking on these vital parts. If you're going to spend $399 on a modified Casio don't you want it to perform like a new one? Well, look no further as I refurbish as well as modify! Your newly modified Casio SK-1 comes complete with instructions and a set of four short patch cables. Please note that this modified keyboard is made by hand lovingly one at a time and MADE TO ORDER so there may be a delay in shipping depending on stock on hand. Please inquire for details.
