Ensoniq ESQ-1 Synthesizer - 3.53 Hidden Waves OS & More

via this auction
"The ESQ has a great voice architecture in that it has three DCOs and a rich analog VCF per voice. The Hidden Waves OS EPROM allows for some amazing sounds and textures by giving you access to more DCO waveforms. A fresh CR2032 battery was installed in a new battery holder, replacing the old solder-tab lithium battery. The ESQ-1 has the SQX-10 Sequencer Expander Cartridge which expands the sequencer capacity to 10,000 notes. This ESQ-1 is the more solid metal model which predates the later plastic models..."

Doepfer A100 Basic System 2 Portable (Black Case) With MIDI

via this auction
Noisebug (RSS)
"The a-100 basic system 2 is a portable true analog modular synthesizer. This modular system is capable of creating basslines, leads, pads, percussion and effects plus filter processing. The Midi module makes this system compatible with keyboards, sequencers and computers.
The voltage-controlled oscillators have a solid frequency range of eight octaves. It can produce four waveforms simultaneously: square, sawtooth, triangle, and sine wave. The frequency or pitch of the vco is determined by the position of the octave (range) switch and tuning (tune) knob, and by the voltage present at the cv inputs. Frequency modulation (fm) of the vco is therefore a possibility. Footage (the octave of the fundamental) is set by the range control, and fine tuning controlled by the tune knob.
Also included is a voltage controlled low-pass filter, which filters out the higher parts of the sound spectrum, and lets lower frequencies pass through. the cut-off frequency determines the point at which filtering takes effect. You can control this manually, or by voltage control (filter modulation, for instance by an lfo). The vcf1 is a "transistor ladder" design, with a cut-off slope of -24 db/octave, as in various moog synthesizers. That's what gives it its classic, legendary moog sound. The filter resonance (or emphasis) is adjustable all the way up to self-oscillation - in which case the filter behaves like a sine wave oscillator.
This system is based on the Eurorack format and is compatible with most of the new eurorack module makers out there along with modular synths and vintage keyboards like Arp, Moog and Oberheim. It is also 100% Portable!
