Linn LM-2 LinnDrum Vintage Drum Machine Basic Demo

YouTube Uploaded by zibbybone on Jan 11, 2012

"I [zibbybone] made this video to demonstrate the basic functions of the LM-2 LinnDrum drum machine and to embed it in my eBay listing, but I just sold it to a local. I start off with a 2 bar pattern featuring every available sound. Next, I demonstrate the stock sounds except the toms are "Toms6", more of an electronics "Simmons" style instead of acoustic toms. I also demonstrate the tuning ability of the snare, sidestick (chained to snare's pitch), toms and conga as well as the closed hihat decay. The LinnDrum has 5 trigger inputs which can be assigned to any of the onboard sounds. Here, I use a Roland TR-707 to trigger the LM-2's kick, snare, sidestick, closed hihat and clap than then program a pattern on the 707. You can hear some double triggering on the kick and clap, so it's best to experiment with different sounds as your sources to trigger the LM-2. Ideally, you want sounds with sharp attacks and instant decays. I finish off the video with a pattern based on Don Henley's "Sunset Grill".
Be sure to subscribe to be notifed of future videos! Thanks for watching!"

Domino Filter Video 1

"Here is a quick look at the Eowave Domino, focusing on the sound of the filter, using the sawtooth oscillator"

Domino MIDI Clock Synchronized LFO

"Eowave Domino's LFO sync'd to MIDI clock. This video shows LFO waveforms: triangle, ramp up, ramp down, square and random. You can have fun manipulating the LFO speed setting while sync'd to MIDI clock. The LFO is modulating the 24db/oct filter and the pulse width of the square waveform oscillator in this video."

Domino's Filter Processes Audio From Reaktor

"Using the audio input to route a drum beat from a Reaktor Ensemble Krypt, through the Domino's 24 db/octave filter. Domino's LFO is tempo sync'd to Reaktor's MIDI clock, and is modulating the filter cutoff."
