"This is the "brains" of a PPG Wave 2.3: Classic vintage 8 voice wavetable synth; digital oscillators for complex waveforms; warmed up with rich analog filters [8x Curtis SSM 2044 VCF chips], designed by Wolfgang Palm, used by famously by David Bowie, The Fixx, Trevor Horn, Jean Michel Jarre, Art of Noise, Rush, Depeche Mode, Gary Numan, Robert Palmer, Psychadelic Furs, Talk Talk, The Cars, Ultravox, Steve Winwood, Rush, Stevie Nicks, Thomas Dolby, Pet Shop Boys, Mike and the Mechanics, and Stevie Wonder.

If you already have a PPG Wave with an active PPG Bus, the unit will work directly, but won't work with MIDI until you or a technician complete

When complete, you can sample with the Waveterm-A, edit the sounds via MIDI over sysex and dump wavetables back and forth from computer to EVU and Waveterm-A.

"Here we see the MacBeth X-Series Micromac in action again. One reason to include 3 Oscillators in any synth (and give them separate CV inputs) is to have the ability to play them all seperately! Here I use a Korg SQ-10 Sequencer to drive Oscillators 2 + 3 and use the Mk1 Vortex Keyboard synth to drive Oscillator 1 as well as the sequence! I guess this is pretty unique amoungst the desktop synths! Amazing that this sound comes out a very small synthesizer...! Again- it has to be said- this project and this format began well over a year ago!"

LepLoop 12 db low pass lep filter

"Simple 12 db low pass filter. This filter uses 2 BC547 NPN transistor and a stereo 100k pot for the cutoff, instead of the pot. it's possible to use 2 photo resistorse. This filter can operate from 5 to 12 volt for simple application. I've developed it with Peppo at LEP lab in Milano."
