"THIS IS AN OTA BASED ANALOG FILTER WITH SOME FLUTTERY SOUNDS. THERE IS A DIODE DAISY CHAIN THAT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FLUTTERNESS WHEN THE REZ KNOB IS TURNED UP.
THIS IS A GREAT LOW BUDGET STARTER VCF.

YOU CAN EASILY ACHIEVE VINTAGE SH-101 SOUNDING ACID OR KORG MS-20 CLEAN SWEEPS. IT HAS A WIDE TONAL SPECTRUM. YOU GET GOOD TONAL VARIETY WHEN YOU ADJUST THE LEVEL INPUT KNOB, IF YOU ALWAYS HAVE IT FULLY CLOCKWISE YOU WILL MISS OUT.

I WILL HAVE AUDIO DEMOS, DURING THE WEEK.
THIS IS CURRENTLY THE CLEANEST FILTER I HAVE ON THE PRODUCT LIST. THE OTHER FILTERS I SELL ARE AGGRESSIVE OR DIRTY.

I ADJUSTED THESE FILTER TO BARELY START SATURATING, BUT IF YOU LIKE THAT BIG RAW SOUND THIS IS WHERE YOU ADJUST IT. YOU WILL HERE THE ADJUSTMENT WHEN THE LEVEL KNOB IS FULLY TURNED CLOCKWISE.

THIS FILTER HAS A MASSIVE LOW END."

Cynthia Sawtooth Animators are Back!

"The New Euro Sawtooth Animator is only 1 3/8" inches deep, (1.375")
which also equals 35mm.

Only 8-HP wide.

Our first Euro Saw Animator was considerably deeper [bottom pic below] as it had a right-angle board mount with a ribbon cable. That's all been done away with, and in its place is a new six-layer Surface mount board that is only as wide as the module and less than an inch and a half deep. Another difference is that these boards are now assembled all in-house on our new stencil printer, reflow oven, and pick & place machine!

Miniaturization here is the key, yes it gives you a huge fat sound, but it is
a ton of circuitry (ten chips and five trim pots, etc) in one fantastically slim module. Thr trim pots allow the user to adjust the frequencies of five of the six total LFOs that do the animating. Each Sawtooth Animator can have a slightly different pattern than another, (like snowflakes!) using these trimmers in back.

Another use for the Saw Animator is as a cloud of six LFOs that feature a master depth knob for their respective amplitudes, voltage controlled depth, and a unique Frequency-Controlled center frequency for all.

It can be used for some really wild feedback loops by feeding the LFO outs back into your oscillator inputs. Although the name is Sawtooth Animator, it will see any waveform with the exception of square and pulse waves, so if you have a VCO or LFO that has triangle and square outputs for example, now you can create an output of sawtooth waveforms, or a pack of wild pulses.

We're very proud of this module, it has more stages and LFOs than the AFG, Doepfer, or the new MiniBrute keyboard, it tracks the incoming audio frequency for consistency, has voltage-controlled Fat depth, offers outputs to all of those LFOS, also has a Pulse Animator output, and doesn't use up all the space in your case!
