audible color
audible color from Momo Miyazaki on Vimeo.
audible color is an audio-visual instrument. Sound is generated based on color detected by a camera. Red, green and blue correspond with certain music notes. When the colors are mixed, the resulting secondary colors produce different notes. The size of the colors influences the volume and frequency of the notes played. Color detection and sound generation were created and are controlled using Processing code.

POLIVOKS Filter Demo
YouTube Published on Jul 5, 2012 by DJjondent
"It's a strange synth. But what great filter .... can be switched from low pass to bandpass in an instant. It also posesses two envelopes that can be looped over the attack-decay sections.
I understand that Rammstein use this synth as does Franz Ferdinand.
This is the first of two videos comparing an original Polivoks Filter to one of its many clones.
In this demo, its Blue Lantern's LM4250 VCF.
Im starting with an open filter... Cutoff at max - level 6, resonance at 0.
I'll update this later with a more detailed explanation of the controls (for those who cant read Russian).
Modulation is via an LFO on the extreme left and an ADSR envelope."
Blue Lantern LM4250 VCF - Polivoks filter Clone

"Second part of the Polivoks Filter comparison/demo.
The Blue Lantern Filter is similar but not a copy.... it's got it's own great character.
and as it's now part of a modular synth you can do so many new things with it..... Iike mixing the LP & BandP filetr outputs.... and that "Brute" switch is aptly named.
In this demo I used a doepfer LFO to modulate the filter."

"This is a demonstration of the triple wave folder from Toppo Brillo. For this demo I'm running a 100 hz triangle through all 3 sections of the folder. The folder is creating harmonic energy from 200 hz up to around 3200 hz, depending on how things are set."

"Here's a simple sequence being processed through the triple wave folder. The "all vc" input is controlled by an mfos A/R generator."

"Another Ableton setup running a polivoks kit, a simpler embedding a kalash sample and a bass synth.
Two timeFrog's features here shown:
-- the use of the two clocks, together and one by one, the disc clockruns at 0.6 bpm the seq one at 180bpm.
-- the cross MIDI configuration: the midi setting is shared between the disc and the seq and can be changed on the fly, here the change of the channels allows to change the sound with keeping the rythm patterns.
By chance this time, a better view of the lcd display, helps to understand what happens..
should be cut at 1:3, but something fun in drivng the frog make me always continue...
