"This tune by Jarre is one of the most joyful tunes in the world and always makes me smile. Therefore, I picked this one as of the very few covers I performed at my mini-tour in May 2012. This video was recorded live at my show in Doo-Bop Club, Vaasa, 12th of May 2012.
The song was performed using only analog synthesizers, either played live or sequenced. The performance was recorded line in to one of the cameras. The ambience in the club was recorded using the built-in microphones on two of the remaining cameras and mixed together with the line signal.
Equipment used in this song: Arp Odyssey Mk II; Korg Polysix, Poly 61, Mono/Poly, Micro-preset M500; Roland TR-808, Juno 60, Alpha Juno 1&2; Moog Source, Touched-by-sound DRM1, Oberheim Matrix 6R, Yamaha RM1x (only for MIDI sequencing), Behringer DDX3216, Lexicon MPX500, as well as a midi patchbay and additional preamps for my mixer. Cameras: Canon HF100 (x2), HF200 and HF406.
Many thanks to Doo-Bop Club and Magnus Nordström for arranging the concert and giving me a hand with roading the equipment!
Big thanks to Heidi Väisänen for roading, assistance, support and filming the whole show!
And a big thanks to everyone that showed up at the event!"

OP-1 as a control Surface for Abelton - Basic Setup
YouTube Published on Aug 2, 2012 by DJjondent
"OP-1 (Teenage Engineering) - Abelton Live - Basic setup
I'm using a Dell PC (running Windows XP) in this example.
Initially the OP-1 wasn't recognised. It took a connection through a powered USB hub
before I saw it in the system.
Check that Abelton can see it:
In Windows XP it is recognised as a "USB Audio Device"
Options/Properties/....Under midi ports click Track, Sync, remote.
In this demo I sample the OP-1 directly into an Abelton Audio channel.
It's triggered from the midi send channel.... playing Calvin Harris featuring Ne-Yo - "Let's Go".
Thanks to Matt from RhythmActive for the OP-1

"Make sure USB is connected.
To receive Midi you must be in OP-1 Mode.
Shift/Com then "Track" button 1
To send Midi enter CTRL mode.
Shift/Com then hit Track Button 2.
Playing notes using the keyboard.
First with a Moog VST.
and then with Abelton's Operator Synth.
To use the encoders to change synth parameters you need to enter midi setup mode in Abelton.
The last part of the video uses a basic Abelton Drum Kit.
Thanks to Matt from RhythmActive for the OP-1

Kaleidoloop sending audio to Doepfer external in module, gates and envelope to other modules and controlling the Din Sync Drum Dokta.
All under black light to show off my sticker project on the Kaleidoloop. Enjoy!!"

Kommander E350
YouTube Published on Aug 2, 2012 by ISOTROPOSPHERE
"Testing out the new Koma Kommanders to control my modular synth.
Please note that Koma elektronic has mentioned that Doepfer cables are 100 percent able to utilize all four jacks on the Kommanders as the jacks are quite closely spaced together. I am only using the four cv jacks here, no gate jacks.
CV from Kommander B, if you can see the label stickers in the video, is going to the Intellijel HEXvca and controlling two channels there with cv I and cv II.
CV from Kommander A is going to the E350 Morphing Terrerium and cv I is for X/Y waves and cv II is for Z wave control.
CV for the 1 v/oct input on the E350 frequency is coming from the Flame knob recorder which turned out to be very useful as the E350 range in it's three modes is kind of narrow and all the random voltage sources I have kept pegging the range to it's high point. The knob recorder I was able to control the cv in the range and record a little cv sequence to be used here in the video.
I was surprised to see that my camera actually picks up the infrared lamps on the Kommanders and shows them as little white circles on the Kommanders. These things are FUN!!!"
KORG Poly-61 Demo Video
poly61
YouTube Published on Aug 2, 2012 by tblv9300
I heard the Poly-61 used Korg filters based on the SSM204, while the Polysix used SSM2044. Anyone know the details? The 61 did use SSM2056 for the EGs. Via the sequencer.de wiki.
Update: video re-uploaded.
