"Samplr and SampleWiz. Both really cool iOS apps based on sampling. In this video I explore some of the differences between the two apps. SampleWiz is a Wizdom Music universal app for iPad and iPhone and Samplr is created by Marcos Alonso and is an iPad app. They have some similarities, but the differences are enough that if you like sampling and sound, you should have both!!"

"Another touchscreen control app experiment. The audio is synthesized entirely in Max/MSP. No samples or plug-ins were harmed in the making of this video. The control app was built in Cinder, and is running on a 23" Hewlett Packard touchscreen monitor. (I think the particular model number is "POS" if you're curious.)"

"This unit is equipped with the dual-mode SVF filter, which really opens up the tonal possibilities of the Shurthi-1. You can easily get oddly distorted and mangled output from one filter and warm, ESQ-1 style sound out of the other. Also very cool with this synth are the plethora of oscillator mod modes and a very simple but deceptively useful arpeggiator. Not to be forgotten is the audio input, which is especially cool with the dual filter if you want to further mangle other audio sources..."
