"Details: this particular JP6 has been serviced about 6-7 months, completely cleaned, connectors, sliders, pots are cleaned and lubricated, minor calibration, all contacts lubricated, you wont see any dust or rust, perfect inside. MAIN THING: MEMORY HAS BEEN EXPANDED. This JP6 HAS 2 EXTRA BANKS OF MEMORY(32), 2nd picture shows some modification and 3 positions switch on a back of keyboard. I saw couple times JP6 with same modifications on ebay, both from CA. Also synth has 220/117 volts switch(original set up), so you can use this JP6 in USA or EUROPE, NOT BUYING ANY TRANSFORMER, just plug and play(never really used 220v). Right now switch in "USA" position 117 v. Absolutely everything on this synth WORKS JUST PERFECT: all keys, knobs, lights etc etc etc..."
"Auction is for item as pictured. It is in good cosmetic condition. It does have a few scratches. There are notes scratched into the top of the keyboard."
No mention on what the mods do. Individual tuning mods?
Update via Richard Atkinson in the comments: "It looks like an attempt to make the machine polyphonic. Or to offer microtuning."
