"Up for bids is this great little book that is chock full of vintage analog synthesizer circuits, "ELECTRONIC MUSIC CIRCUIT GUIDEBOOK". Printed in 1975, also shows "1st edition" on the inside cover.
This book illustrates many old school analog effects & synth circuits, which can be used to build a complete synthesizer.
Includes many complete schematics from vintage PAIA synthesizer modules, as well as other PAIA equipment, such as the "Gnome" micro-synthesizer and "Synthespin" Leslie simulator. This book would be ideal for anyone wishing to restore some old PAIA equipment, or to build some custom stuff!
Book is in good condition for it's age, with no loose or missing pages. Some handwritten notes / drawings in margin(s), none affecting book legability.
"In this video again radiokoala carves out unheard of sounds out of monotribe, and also shares the fun technique he's just discovered: patching monotribe's own sync out signal back to gate in.
This allows to make some pretty interesting rhythmic effects; the trick is in enabling the inverted trigger mode in CV/gate settings -- in this mode, the gate is open not when a trigger is high, but when it is low (0V). Therefore, by patching monotribe's clock signal back to itself, when sequencer is running, one can in easy way add some nice feeling groove to a sequence!
"A Pad App from S4... 16 pads x 16 banks = 256 Pads for iPad. For iPhone and iPod Touch: 9 pads x 9 banks)
Choose one of the 3 Play modes (Shot, Gate and Trigger). - Each pad allows you to: Trim the Start Play position, set Loop Mode, set Fade-in, set Fade-out (only when loop mode is invalid), set Volume and Pan and set Mute Group. You also have Reverb, Delay, Distortion, Low Pass Filter, Varispeed Fx. You can import audio files from the iPod music library and iTunes File Sharing. And AudioPaste (Sonoma). You can also record and share your Performances. I really love S4 Pad (as all the S4 Apps), the only drawback is the Reverb fx... A Dry/Wet mix setting button would have been great... A Killer App!"
"All you need to do is import your favorite music from iPod music library, various audio files, etc., and tap the pad!
According to your preference, you can use S4-Pad in many ways such as the following:
- Making sound effects
- Using as drum pads
- Using as an acoustic device in stage
Features
- Available 256-patterns audio files (16 pads x 16 banks. For iPhone and iPod Touch: 9 pads x 9 banks = 81 patterns)
- This app allows you to make backup/restore 256-patterns audio files up to the limit of your storage device.
- Each pad allows you to...
>select three patterns of Play mode
>trim the position to play
>set loop mode
>set fade-in, fade-out (Only when loop mode is invalid)
>set volume and pan
>set Mute Group
- You can import various audio files from iPod music library and iTunes. In addition, you can import audio files from AudioPaste into pad. - Each effect

"New! acQA/R: quad attack release EG. A special edition collaboration with hexinverter.net! (Thanks, Stacy) Channels 1and 3 have switch pots for outputting negative voltage. All four gates are normalled to control all four EGs from one gate signal."
Update: demo video added below.

"The new acQA/R quad EG is a special collaboration with hexinverter.net.
Because each EG is normalled to channel 1 you can send four separate cv outputs with a single gate event. Channel 1 is controlling cutoff frequency of the VCF. Channel 4 is controlling amplitude modulation.
Channels 1 and 3 have pull switch pots that will output a negative voltage, as is demonstrated at around :30 in the video."
