Modular, mutable, microbrute.
Happy holidays to all synth nerds."
Megawave in a Manger

We hope you all got some cool pedals and modules in your stockings!"
And one more via Malekko on Facebook:
"Have a happy whatever it is you're in to this time of year from Malekko Heavy Industry!"
Synthony's HAVE A SYNTHSATIONAL HOLIDAY! Ad from 1983

"Synthony Music's 'Have a synthsational holiday! (Santa will)' quarter page black and white advertisement from page 20 in the December 1983 issue of Keyboard Magazine.
Taking a break from the rum and eggnog to bring you this piece of lovely history."

A Synth Stocking!
This one in via Jason.
"What will he bring us this year? Shhhh... I think he's on the roof! Time to sleep!"
Is that cool or what?
BTW, taking it easy today, so holiday posts only will be going up.
Merry Christmas!!!
Merry Christmas everyone!
I hope you are all enjoying a wonderful holiday season!
I thought I'd feature some of the synth gifts I received throughout the year.
This year I picked up some Malekko modules originally featured here, an Arturia Minibrute, and a new iPad Mini Retina. I also received the Analogue Solutions Polymath card pictured below. Thank you!
Special thanks to the iOS developers of Monotone Delay, iPG-800, Master FX, Junglator, Arctic ProSynth, Modular for Ipad, SeekBeats, MIDI Designer Pro, KOUSHION, and MIDI Pattern Sequencer for the promo codes.
Thank you to all the sponsors on the right of the site. Running the site takes an immense amount of work and time, and all the support helps. Please support them as they help support the site AND the synth community.
And of course, thank you to you the readers and contributors of the site! The best gift comes from those that simply enjoy the site.
Merry Christmas!
Be sure to see the holidays channel below for more.

Vintage Polyfusion Polyphonic Keyboard

"Here is something that you really do not see very often. The Polyfusion Polyphonic keyboard controller model #2058 ! This was used with Polyfusion modulars and can be used to get a modular to respond polyphonically. It is missing the "break out box" that normally came with them (see the picture in the advertisement) but this will be very useful to any one who has a polyfusion modular and wants a back up keyboard or who is patient enough to find the missing part. It should not be hard to find since the synth community is so well connected these days because of the net. I hated looking for parts in the 90's!
If you are into the early days of electronic music this is an item that may interest you. I rarely see polyfusion items for sale. The unit is in great shape with only minor wear. All metal and wood construction for the case makes a very sturdy and attractive instrument.
What you see in the pictures is what you get. One very rare Polyfusion keyboard controller..."
