"This video not only shows how we did the PL02.56 (SP0256-AL2 tribute) firmware demo song, but also introduces ways to build robot (synthesizer) speech using allophones and using it as an instrument.

Markus designs the bassdrum and snare part on πλ² firmware V2.0 and later demonstrates the different PL02.56 FW playmodes on his Yamaha DX1 and Roland A300pro master keyboards, using Steinberg Cubase."



"All sounds are generated on the Ploytec πλ² PL02.56 firmware (including "synth beatbox" percussion), except for BD/SN/HH using πλ² FW2.0. No effects, except for EQ, compression and a very very tiny bit of reverb.
