SSF - Ultra Random Analog *URA*

Published on Feb 9, 2015 DivKidMusic

"An absolutely great module from SSF providing a massive amount of random sources with CV control, audio rate clocks, multiple outputs and modulation types. Truly good module that I seem just as (if not more) excited about the more I play with it.

Elektron Octatrack, Machinedrum, A4 and Analog Rytm.

Published on Feb 9, 2015 Dylan Nau

"An all Elektron jam! I just got the Rytm, its super groovy. To be honest I think with these 4 machines it is almost overkill, but one would not need any more than this to make anything you want really. My fingernails are long, I play guitar and love to use my nails for picking, please comment on that. Thanks for watching"

Korg Monopoly, Elektron Octatrack and Analog 4

Published on Jan 15, 2015 Dylan Nau

"Here I have the Octatrack sequencing the Mono/Poly utilizing the Midipoly kit which lets me play the Korg with midi and I can play it paraphonically which can be pretty sweet! Using velocity numbers, I can choose which voice plays on the Monopoly. Drums are on the Octatrack and and I have the Korg running into the A4. Melody and a little bassline I have sequenced on the A4. For those who don't know the A4 is the little black box on the left, the Octatrack which serves as the brain, is the small box on the right.

Eurorack - Make Noise Erbe-Verb

Published on Feb 9, 2015 Luftrum1

"Eurorack Modular. Demo of the Erbe-Verb by Make Noise.

Featuring DPO, K4815 Pattern Generator and Mutable Instruments Ripples.

The Erbe-Verb is more than a collection of reverb algorithms or presets, it is a unique, modeless, continuously variable reverb algorithm with complete voltage control. Typical reverb types such as plate, room, hall, shimmer and others may be programmed by adjusting the knobs. The continuously variable algorithm allows for hybrid and unreal spaces to be found. Traveling between spaces is possible by modulating the algorithm or manually sweeping parameters. More than an end-of-chain effects unit, it's a whole new building block for modular synthesis. Like the Echophon, it's coded by Tom Erbe of soundhack.

7 Minutes with an Ipad Synth - synth-Q

iTunes: synth-Q - Never Be Normal

"Synth-Q has been designed from the ground up with the touchscreen interface in mind. Synth-Q is a subtractive synthesizer with a customizable interface. A unique module queuing system, resizable multi-octave keyboard, and intuitive cable-based modulation controls offer a truly dynamic music-making experience for iOS.

Each part of the synth is separated into units called modules. Each module snaps into place along a scrollable surface above the keyboard.

Control the number of modules shown on the screen at any time. Control which modules appear for each sound.

Tap a button on the module menu to launch a module and add it to the queue.

Drag a module up and release to remove it from the queue.

Drag a module down to move it within the queue.

Add variability to your sound by connecting different modules using virtual cables.

Alter the sound with synth-Q's movable keys.

Synth-Q provides an intuitive and engaging way to get started creating your own sounds, and is ideal for production, performance and music education environments."
