via the seller: "This is fully functioning and has had a recent service to clean all controls, so there are no noisy or crackly pots when moving the knobs. The keyboard is flawless and every note plays properly. The CV/Gate sockets at the rear of the synth have been tested and everything works without any issues.

The CV/Gate sockets and functionality were tested using my Novation BassStation Rack synth's built-in MIDI CV converter. I could play the CS-10 on its own MIDI channel within Cubase on my PC and I could also play the BassStation on the CS-10 keyboard.
The audio input socket on the rear of the CS-10 also works without any issues, and I was able to put my Korg ER1 drum machine through the CS-10's synthesis path. Cool!
This is completely original other than the 2 sliders that control Portamento and Pitch Bend on the front panel. These were replaced a while ago with some very good alternatives. I have included an image that shows what an original slider cap (off my mate's CS-5) looks like in comparison to the replacements. While not identical I'm sure you'll agree they are more than satisfactory alternatives.
Included in the sale are a printed and bound manual that I downloaded from the Yamaha web site, and a booklet of synthesizer patch charts for the CS-10, CS-30 and CS-30L. I think I also have a copy of the CS-10 service guide too.
This is a great little, true analogue mono synth that has the flexibility of low, band and hi pass filters. It is only a single oscillator synth, but has mixable saw and square waves with noise and pulse width modulation too. This is the same as the CS-5 synth but has separate envelope controls for the filter and the amp, unlike the CS-5's shared envelope control for both."
