See if you can ID the synth at 2:30 (hint in the channel labels at the bottom of this post - don't look if you want to try and guess). If it's what I think it is, it has a much smaller than I thought. That or it's just the angle in the video.

This one in via j j. That moment when you realize your synth just died. Ugh. I know the feeling. My OB-Xa finally bit the dust. I think it was due to the installed Numera MIDI finally giving out. I plan on picking up an Encore MIDI kit for it. Until then it sits on its side waiting.

For j j's EMX it appears it was the power supply. He verified by swapping it with the ESX per the following:

"This special work was made with a vintage dual ghielmetti 15x15 -when you push on a pin you are making two patchs at the same time-. This video shows a complex drone patch, granular synthesis & external control with a midimplant/monomachine. The speacs from the semi modular are:

- 7 VCO saw waveform
- 4 log VCA and 4 linear VCA
- 8 LFO sine waveform
- 24 dB VCF
- Main VCA
- ADSR (the out is pre-connected to the CV in from the main VCA)
- Each VCO have a switch onf/off to FM
- CV/gate input 1/8"
- Universal power supply AC100-260V
- Outline 1/4"

The outs from the matrix are the X axys and the outs are in the Y axys:

"Sequential Circuits Pro One Analog monophonic synthesizer with J-Wire keyboard. (The more desirable edition. Serial number 6104) In very good working condition for it's age. This is an older vintage analog synth and sounds BIG. Really BIG! I have a youtube VIDEO DEMO of the unit ....search youtube for: Sequential Circuits Pro One Demo - The Last Tango

Cosmetically about 7.5/10. It has a few scratches mostly on the bottom from wear over the years. I removed the front "Sequential Circuits" and "Pro One" badges when I was younger (thinking that it looked better without them) and I don't know where they ended up so I'm sorry, I no longer have them..."
