"This is a beautifully smooth sounding phase shifter with great stereo depth. Selling because of a studio downsize.

Cosmetically the unit is in great shape for it's age, aside from a bit of rack rash and a few light scratches (see photos). These units appeared for a short time from 1978, and although I don't know the exact age of this unit, it will be from there or thereabouts.

Where things can get very exciting is when the phaser is connected with cv/gate compatible instruments or sequencers. It has a semi-modular approach and allows triggering of the phase shift and control voltage frequency modulation.

The unit has just been serviced and all knobs and switches have been cleaned.

Waldorf Introduces The Kompaktklavier - a Zarenbourg in Desktop Format

This one in via Soviet Space Child, spotted on Future Music. Something I didn't realize, or never really thought about until now, is that engine features a 6-OP FM synthesizer. There is a software editor for it as well (image below). "The software editor (Mac & PC compatible, available summer 2014) affords direct access to all generators’ fundamental sound-shaping parameters, as well as to the Zarenbourg’s menus of internal sounds and layers." Unfortunately, no iPad editor for a more immediate interface into the synth engine.
