Expanding on the synth funk with Circuit
Published on Feb 28, 2017 ZeroCrosser
"I was pleased with the sounds in my previous upload but felt I could do a better arrangement and composition. Here is a more fleshed out tune using those same synth patches. Everything is pure Circuit except for a guitar solo that I just couldn't resist laying down on top of The groove. :) I was just getting that David Bowie "Let's Dance" vibe and I had to throw down some riffs! There is also a synth solo at the very end of the song. This was achieved by playing One of the Circuit's synths in real time as I recorded the track. I am amazed it worked out so well considering that same synth was already playing a sequenced pad and lead. Somehow I didn't run out of voices"

"A one-take jam with harmonic oscillations, a drunken PLL, clangy FM percussion and swooping self-oscillation."

Edgar's Dilemma
"Perplexed by an increasingly impatient audience, Edgar began to cogitate about the future of his 'Modular Madness Symphony Unplugged' tour."
Fun (and funny) bit of synth art from New Man Studios' Artist Shop. These are for sale. You can find the mug here, print here, phone case here, and finally the t-shirt here.

P.S. You can also find New Man Studios on BandCamp here.
A 60's Moog Dream (breath Controlled)
"So here is another quick demo of using just my Moog Mother 32 with 1 addition which is a Manhattan MA32 Filter...otherwise this is pure Moog Mom 32 AND most of this is being breath controlled by a Pulplogic breath controller tile (still prototyped). I could not do this without Pulplogic's wonderful work on this breath controller tile...for all you Eurorack people."
Also check out jcn7 aka James Newman as New Man Studios on Bandcamp here.

A Review on the Electronic Music Works WCS-1x Synthesizer
You can find the full review on Creative Tech Nerds here.
"If a Moog Modular had babies, they might look and sound like the EMW WCS-1x. If you're looking for a truly distinctive synth with a beefy "Moog-like" sonic signature, you need to give the WCS-1x a serious look. At a street price of just under $300.00 ( U.S. dollars ), the WCS-1x also happens to be an incredible bargain. Tip to the wise: Snag a couple of these mini- monsters while they're still being made!"
