MPC Live - Weinglas Style
Published on Jun 25, 2017 Wein Glas
"Not the usual sounds from the Akai MPC Live. But you see it in the garden with a glass of finest Italian red wine.
You hear the new "clip mode" played live with no sequencing.
And you see how to install an internal SSD drive.
Cheers!
Btw: Thanks to Nordvargr!

Because some of the samples used are from his old APP 'Nordvargr Music Easel'!"
Rheyne - Sequenced Jam #40 (Moog Mother-32, DFAM, Make Noise Eurorack, Ableton)
Published on Jun 25, 2017 Rheyne
"Recorded with Moog and Make Noise sound sources, with a single MIDI loop in Ableton triggering a Make Noise 0-Coast for the "pad" sound in the background, processed by Ableton's reverb. All other sounds are triggered by the Moog Mother-32 sequencers. FM on both VCO A and B on the Make Noise DPO is being processed in stereo, via the stereo return on the Make Noise Rosie. The Moog DFAM's clock is advanced with a separate gate from its trigger. All audio except the 0-Coast is passing through a Strymon BigSky. The 0-Coast is passing through Ableton via an Expert Sleepers ES-8, which also outputs a clock signal for sync'ing Ableton to the Make Noise Tempi, and also outputs additional LFOs."
1980'S OBERHEIM DX DRUM MACHINE
Monome 64 & Arc 2
Rhythm Ace FR-2L Analog Drum Beat Synthesizer, Model FR-2L
OBERHEIM OB-12 VIRTUAL ANALOG POLYPHONIC SYNTHESIZER
via eBay and Reverb.
The listing states: "This blue beauty is Oberheim's virtual-analog version of the classic sounds and tone of the original Oberheim synthesizers, with some additional modern features."
The OB-12 actually does NOT sound like a classic Oberheim. That said, it is a good sounding VA with it's own character. It excels at strings and pads as well as some harsh and abrasive sounds. Be careful with the resonance turned up high. It can be ear piercing in a way not found on other synths, except maybe the Akai AX-60. The OB-12 was a Viscount synth.
