SNAZZY FX HI_GAIN

Published on Jul 25, 2017 snazelle

"here is the first video for the SNAZZY FX HI_GAIN. This module is all about causing trouble in your euro system. Distortion, Noise, Feedback, Trash, Etc. Works as a pair of dirty VCAS plus a Third Gain Stage OR as a total three stage system where you plug into the top section and then pass signal through all three. Very analog, lots of fun."

"Get this on Bandcamp: https://soundvision.bandcamp.com/albu...

Live recording of 2x Access Virus Indigo 2 and Novation Bass Station II lines tracked over 6 instances of Operator in Ableton. Drums, vocals, and effects added afterward.

This was supposed to just be an ambient track, but it got away from me and kept getting bigger and more complex. The video was supposed to be simple, too, but also got away from me.
An alternate ambient version is available as part of the single.

Video made using Premiere and After Effects. Captures include Ableton and iZotope interfaces. Watching people play arpeggios is admittedly boring, sorry.

Virus: top and bass arpeggios
BSII: bass arpeggio + live lead"

analogue synthesizer demo 4

Published on Jul 25, 2017 Synthe_64

"This demo is another example of what can be produced using vintage and new analogue synthesizers and modulars trough connection of CV and triggers. The vintage synthesizers are the incredible Moog Minimoog Model D and Roland vocoder VP 330 plus, the Roland SH2 and Korg Polysix . You will also hear the RMF Elsita drumsynthesizer, the Arturia Microbrute and Korg Monotribe. A Pittsburgh modular with some additional modules from Doepfer and Trouby complete the sound.
Mixing and FX is done by two Behringer mixers, an Alesis Microverb 3 and a Small Stone phaser. The used mike for the vocoder is a Shure PG57.
I don't use midi. No prerecording used.
I invite you to also check my former 3 videos." [posted here]

DJ Galactic - Future Jazz (Drum and Bass) Jam Korg ESX2

Published on Jul 24, 2017 DJ Galactic

"DJ Galactic - Future Jazz (Drum and Bass) Jam Korg Electribe Sampler 2 from the DnB Prototype Project. Jamming, sampling, and Jazz what a beautiful combination, that motivates me to keep it up even in these time. Back to the hospital today, dropping this quick beat making session meanwhile, I made from one of my upcoming track Only Paradise from the Drum and Bass / Jungle Prototype that hopefully will rise to the sky in 2018. Simplicity is the key it s one of the beat that use the fewest channels on any of my tracks, and it s crazy what you can achieve with few elements ; I re-sampled my track Only Paradise chopped it and detune which create a totally different sound, with applying different filters + effects on it...
Future Jazz, is kind of Electronic Jazz Music adapted through the drum and bass style by DJ Galactic ; I was born from jazz music and feel it's a nice loop to come back to the jazz that gave me all what I know in music. Hope it sounds ok, anyway I had a good time, feel free to rate and share your feedback. Peace"

'Wicked' - ngarjuna

Published on Jul 24, 2017 ngarjuna

"'Wicked'
The Motomouth mumbles...
Produced by ngarjuna
© 2017 Acid Coast

Patch Notes:
Combination of new and old: the bass, WC Plucks and SMR patches are all from February. Everything else is from more recently.

Mumbles & Wicked Refrain Patch
The main patch's Motomouth modulation is from a series of S&H CVs from the Abstract Data Octocontroller; I scanned around until I found something I liked then grabbed some bars then scanned around to something else
Audio Damage Sequencer 1 providing PITCH and SNAP gates (ACCENT) to Intellijel Rubicon
SAW and PULSE with small amount of PWM modulation from an Octocontroller LFO to STG .MIX to the Limaflo Motomouth
Out to Intellijel uVCA enveloped by Intellijel Dual ADSR

WC Plucks
Stereo patch
Rene driving pitch to STO and Sputnik 1 glide modulated by Seq One
Octocontroller driving pitch to Sputnik 2
Sputnik 1 getting waveshape CV from LFO from Octocontroller and FM'd by Sputnik 2
Sputnik 1 VAR going into Optomix 1 enveloped by Maths
STO FM'd by Sputnik 2 and SHAPE modulated by Octocontroller LFO
STO VAR going into Optomix 2 enveloped by Maths

SMR Melodic
2 Octocontroller loops going into L and R respectively
Octocontroller S&H controlling the ROTATE CV

I don't have patch notes or video but there are two other SMR patches: one which produces kind of a pitchless, funky bouncy kind of sound; another which is a more percussive, almost glasslike kind of sound

You can hear the more subtle modular parts when the Avalon and Motomouth and drums all drop out around 6:33

Drums
Arturia Spark
mutilated by Audio Damage Replicant 2 and Sinevibes Fraction

Acid Voices
Abstrakt Instruments Avalon
LFO from Octocontroller plus manual wiggling

Bass
Combination of a line patched from Audiorealism ABL3 and a line patched with SSF Quantum Rainbow Pink Noise and Rubicon driven by Seq One SQR out into STG Post Lawsuit Filter modulated by S&H CV and enveloped by AJH Minimod CG
Into Classic VCA enveloped by Maths SUM (GATE plus ACC)"
