. Addednotes/Chords now work on relative velocity & gate again 0..100% of step note setting
. Step Trigger Conditions: Mute, Skip or MuteChords on every nth loop. You can also invert n so trigger applies on loops other than n.
. select mode no longer restricts controls to be accessed with selection
. Sequences no longer default to Master or Slave but None. Change in Setup panel
. Audiobus 3.0.3 sdk
. new sequences now default to midi override ch = slot. Copy/paste/load leaves untouched. Show Channel button now warns if ch override applies
. New Option Midi MMC start/stop allows external hardware (e.g. Arturia beatsteps) to start & stop & reset the song playback. You can use this with Slave mode (and enable midi clock on the input) to follow the external hardware tempo (beatstep seq mode). If you have an IOS app that sends midi MMC you can do this on device. Note : IOS apps like AUM do not send midi MMC only respond to it.
This only applies to coreMidi not AB3 midi at the moment - will probably add later.

Persephone by Carbon111

Persephone is the latest release from Carbon111. Long time readers of the site will know Carbon111 from his awesome synth (and more) resource site Carbon111.com. If you are not familiar with the site, do check it out. You will find in-depth resources on Serge, Mattson Mini Modular, Waldorf's Microwave series (including wavetable charts!), and much more.

But this post is about his latest release, Persephone. The official release date is tomorrow, however, the Bandcamp release is up now (embedded above). CD preorders are currently live and will ship by early December. The CDs will be a limited edition of 300, with custom handcrafted packaging, liner notes, and track list, all signed and numbered. They are professionally replicated CDs, not burned CDRs, and will come in a lovely handcrafted black case. The gorgeous cover painting is by Mike Dubisch.

Trigger pulses generated by a modified sequencer drive a triac array that sends 120V AC to electroluminescent wire. The EL wire is wrapped around the patch cables. The patch cables use stereo jacks on one end and send the 120VAC though the middle ring."

"The Stylophone Gen X-1 is a battery powered synth with a stylus keyboard and ribbon touch pad. The Gen X-1 has a built in delay and an aux input that runs through the filter and delay. This video shows some sounds from the Stylophone as well as a Korg Volca Sample going into the aux input.
