"The creator of the Avalon Bassline replied on a mailing list saying this is due to a software limit he imposed on the Avalon for tuning reasons. However as you can hear the tuning is pretty much fine on the TB303 and TT303, and also on the Avalon when its sequencer is bypassed with the CV in from the TB303."
