NuEVI, NuRAD, Wind Synth Moog Model D Sounds - Mark Steiner

Published on Feb 18, 2019 Mark Steiner

"NuEVI, NuRAD, Wind Synth Moog Model D iOS Collection

135 analog style sounds on the iPad Model D app. Best sounding/responding analog style app there is!

$95 - to order email me at monkeydrums@hotmail.com

***** AND.... Life time, full access to all my released sound collections (past and present) will soon be awarded to 2 people.

Today I sent out the update to my NuEVI/Wind Synth collection for Moog Model D iPad APP, which brought the sound count to 135 and added 2 extra variation banks so you can have all those sounds with half the effects mix, or totally dry (so you may more easily use your own effects). There are also poly-mode patches added to the collection.
This collection is for the VERY best analog style iPad App for wind synthesis. The smoothest attacks and warmest sound I have found. Makes sense it was officially made by Moog. Even can respond to high resolution midi.

The collection is $95.

From now through March 4th, any who purchase the Model D collection, or my Arturia SEM V Plugin collection, will be entered into a drawing to get all the sounds I ever release for no additional charge for life (your life, not mine).

Good chance it will be a VERY small group to draw from, so your chances may be quite good. Small, niche group and many already have these.

To be sure I give proper love to those who already have purchased these from me, I’ll do another drawing from them and award a 2nd such life-time membership.

Thank you all for bringing wonderful music into our world!

Mark Steiner"

Volca Modular Only: Short Song with Six Patches

Published on Feb 18, 2019 Hyper Objeckt

"The Volca Modular is capable of a LOT of different sounds... to help newbies like me learn the ropes, Korg has some patch examples listed on their site. I decided to create a song using only these patches. (links below)

To write this song I started off with a chord progression created by Chord Progression Generator (link below). Then, I used the sequencer on the Volca Modular to record two simple sequences that follow the progression. I also wrote a couple melodies that can be played on the ribbon keys.

This song uses a single synth recorded six times, with a different patch used in each recording. During each recording, I listened to all of the previous recordings while playing. I recorded the percussive patch ("western bongo") first, using the sequencer, to set the tempo. I recorded the most expressive melodic patch ("vibrato") last, to make sure that it fit in with the rest of the song.

"Instruments used: Arturia Microbrute, Korg Volca Beats, Eurorack modular (for processing), & Danelectro Bass. The audio sample came from a 1950s informational film about photographic sound tracks. I thought it was cool so I did a jam around it."

Metasonix RK5 Dual Low Pass Gate (LMS EE)

Published on Feb 18, 2019 Learning Modular

"Putting this unusual tube-based low pass gate through its paces, including comparing it to "ordinary" low pass gates and showing where to find it sweet spots. In short, this module sounds different than any other LPG I've worked with, and adds a deep thump to a lot of sounds - even stronger than you can hear on this compressed video.

The Krell's Bad Cousins - AE Modular Synth Patch Challenge 07 #TTNM

Published on Feb 18, 2019

"This is an experiment for the AE Modular Patch Challenge #07 :) This time we were supposed to look into Krell patches. I don't have all the ingredients for that in my rack, so I made this thing, based on the heavily random alien soundscapes. My alien creatures are quite tough and flatulent, I'm afraid. I multi-tracked a slow droney part on top, to make it a little mellower. More info here: http://forum.aemodular.com/thread/183...
