The Commodore Music Maker Deluxe Improvised Jam
Published on Dec 26, 2019 MrCaliforniaD
"First off, sorry for the occasional clipping of the sound console.
This is my friend Jay-Boi playing with the Music Maker Deluxe in a very basic but effective musical setup.
The Commodore controller is connected directly on the keyboard matrix of a Commodore 64c (SID 8580). The sound used is a 3 voice sawtooth waveform with adjustable LFO amount and filter amount using the 2 potentiometers on the side.
The audio out of the C64c is going inside a DIY MS-20 like filter box that receives it's modulation from the a Korg MS-20. The output of the filter box goes to a first track. The Korg MS-20 is connected to a second track.
If you want to know more about this Commodore 64 with piano keys, you can watch these two videos:" [posted here]

"This synthesizer has a unique sound and plenty of modulation!
The second VCO can modulate the VCO I with 2 different type of ring modulation, a pitched noise and more !
This is a singular and unique synthesizer that is a must have for any synthesizer collectors.
Not only talking about the vintage look, this synthesizer has the best sounding possibilities, we find it a mix between the SB-100 and the MS-20."

"Ciat Lonbarde Tetrax Semi Modular Synthesiser - it is used but in great fully working condition. As is often the case with these CL barre synths one of the keys triggers sounds from left to right rather than right to left like the rest. Power supply not included (needs 12v 1a positive tip)"

"This DX-1 is one of only 140 built: they were the flagship of the all-conquering Yamaha DX series of FM digital synths. A veritable behemoth weighing around 50 kilos, with 73 full-length weighted wooden keys and a wooden case. It offers 32 note polyphony and superb sonic performance thanks to the carefully-selected components. Uniquely for a vintage synth, it features polyphonic aftertouch. Yamaha built these to impress, not to a price point (they originally retailed at around £10,000 in 1984 – around £35,000 in today’s money).
Among Yamaha's DX line of synthesizers, the DX1 is definitely the biggest and most expensive. With a dual 6-operator digital FM engine, it's like two DX7's wrapped up in a wood-paneled case and comes with a truly professional weighted 73 note keyboard sensitive to both velocity and aftertouch. The DX7 style membrane buttons have been replaced by actual push-buttons, display screens and the overall layout of buttons and diagrams is nicer and better organized."
