Filmed at Robotspeak in San Francisco, this in-depth synth demo of the Sequential PRO 3 covers nearly every feature and function in detail. In this Sequential PRO 3 overview, Carson takes us through the synth's oscillators, filters, envelopes, effects, sequencer, arpeggiator, feedback, modulation matrix and more while showcasing some sounds.

The Sequential PRO 3 is a hybrid multi-filter mono synthesizer with 60 knobs and 70 buttons, FATAR 37-note semi-weighted keyboard and 3-voice optional paraphony mode (feat. individually gated envelopes per oscillator). The PRO 3 features 3 oscillators (two VCOs + one wavetable), 3 analog filters, 3 LFOs, 4 loopable envelopes, noise, hard sync, glide, tuned feedback, analog distortion, arpeggiator, 16x16x4 sequencer + 16-track sequencer, dual digital effects engines, touch slider and mod wheels, and a staggering 32-slot mod matrix.

Patch notes (also in video):
The ALGODRONE's preset 55 is running very slow and its loop trigger output is used as master clock, feeding into the MMDIVIDER. From there several envelopes are triggered, modulating individual filter cutoff frequencies for four voices (ALGODRONE, SOLINA and two VCOs). I'm using all the available AE Modualr filters: NYLE, WASP, SVFILTER and the new MS-20 filter.

For CV generation and processing I'm mixing two triangle wave LFOs, an offset voltage and the ALGODRONE's output with a prototype of an upcoming polarizing CV mixer module. This one feeds into another prototype of a dual offset/attenuverter for further tweaking. From there the CVs go into two S&Hs and from there those CVs, as well as a direct outputs of the aforementioned modules are spread across the patch to modulate SOLINA chord variantion, ALGODRONE parameters, etc.

It's all very chaotic and slow and I really just tweak the "POLARMIX" CV mixer, the "CV TOOLS" dual offset/attenuverter and the master audio mixer knobs.

CMS 2607 demo - Sync, PFD and high-pass filter

"Phil Cirocco demonstrating the CMS 2607 just before shipping it out to a customer in San Francisco. The patch breifly highlights the built in sync circuit. Later in the video, the High-pass filter output is fed through the Post Filter Distortion circuit (from the ARP Centaur). The two 1/4 inch cables at top right are plugged directly into the stereo input of the camera. No post production or processing. The reverb you hear is the internal spring unit. discretesynthesizers.com"
