Polyend Tracker: Full Release
Published on Jun 1, 2020 Red Means Recording
"*I thought it was going live today, according to Polyend, but it's still in the "pre-order, first come first serve" stage. Here's the official word from Polyend:
'The preorders have started on the 18th of March. We've started shipping the firstly preordered units to private customers/stores/distributors with the last days of May. This is a constant process. I think we'll be sending them for a long time before the Tracker will be available "in stock". Anyone can order at their retailers or directly at polyend.com but we'll be shipping the preorders on a 'first come first serve basis' until September 2020 I think.' Mono Lake
Published on Jun 1, 2020 CatSynth TV
"Scenes from Mono Lake in California, set to original electronic music by Amanda Chaudhary.
'Mono Lake is a saline soda lake in Mono County, California, formed at least 760,000 years ago as a terminal lake in an endorheic basin. The lack of an outlet causes high levels of salts to accumulate in the lake. These salts also make the lake water alkaline...
...Mono Lake is a highly alkaline lake, or soda lake. Alkalinity is a measure of how many bases are in a solution, and how well the solution can neutralize acids. Carbonate (CO32-) and bicarbonate (HCO3−) are both bases. Hence, Mono Lake has a very high content of dissolved inorganic carbon. Through supply of calcium ions (Ca2+), the water will precipitate carbonate-minerals such as calcite (CaCO3). Subsurface waters enter the bottom of Mono Lake through small springs. High concentrations of dissolved calcium ions in these subsurface waters cause huge amounts of calcite to precipitate around the spring orifices.[8] The tufa originally formed at the bottom of the lake. It took many decades or even centuries to form the well-recognized tufa towers. When lake levels fell, the tufa towers came to rise above the water surface and stand as the majestic pillars seen today'

Exploring underwater environments with a 40$ sport cam.
Published on Jun 1, 2020 Jörg Schaaf
"My tip for the next weekend: Buy a cheap sport cam with an underwater housing plus a selfie stick and explore the underwater nature. That is much better than putting it on a helmet and create stuttering shaking videos.
I used my most favorite Spectralis pattern as the sountrack. I programmed that pattern around 2005 for the song e-pop, that can be found in the factory soundset of the Spectralis 2.
