"ConCord" sinfonietta for 16 oscillators by Platon Buravicky

"ConCord – sinfonietta for 16 well-tempered oscillators was composed and performed by composer Platon Buravicky during his residency in Erica Synths Studio on November 2020.
Platon used custom, full analogue modular system, assembled in Erica Synths 3x126HP monster case. The system consists of 16 Black VCO2’s, 8 Black MIDI-CV interfaces, 4 Black Quad VCA’s, 6 Black Dual EG’s, 1 Black Envelope Generator and 9 Pico Scales. No VCF’s – all sounds come straight from VCO’s, expression is added by Black MIDI-CV module modulation output adjusted by Pico Scale. The system is sequenced by a score in Sibelius software and MOTU MIDI interface."

"You can play the Anyma Phi as a synth, using a MIDI controller, or as an audio effects unit, using the audio input. Or… you can do both at the same time!
Here, Jonathan uses a guitar equipped with a Fishman TriplePlay MIDI pickup that sends the MIDI data of his performance to the Anyma Phi, in addition to the guitar's own audio output.
Having both MIDI and audio allows you to augment your guitar sound with resonators and other physical models that are always kept in tune with your playing, opening a wide range of possibilities!

Anyma Phi is an affordable hybrid monophonic synthesizer that allows you to create new sound universes inspired from the real world, where objects collide, vibrate, and resonate.

Anyma Phi blends the classic ingredients of electronic music with physical modeling technology, allowing it to simulate acoustic sound sources, such as strings or reeds, as well as resonating structures, like wood, glass, or metal."

"Here we have the Morph 4 Eurorack module from Joranalogue Audio Design. They call it a “dimensional modulation array” which is a fitting name for a quad VCA with all the bells and whistles of a morphing modulation source built in with mixing, MIN/MAX logic, sub mixes, CV over everything and in typical Joranalogue style … simply pushing analogue design that bit further. The potential list of uses cases is massive, so I’ve got lots of technical and musical patches in the video to really put it through it’s paces and give it the deep dive it deserves. This reminds me of Serge style “patch programability” and really giving modulation (something Rob Hordijk says in the key to modular synthesis) the love it deserves. It’s as simple of complex as you like."
