"Maybe not the best jam ever, but in this one I was trying to have the PĒRKONS play with the other mates in my team. Not so easy to tame that monster. Had a lot of fun playing with it.

In this setup I multitracked the four mono voices of Perskons into Ableton and added some effects (mostly Delay and Reverb) and some EQ to filter the low end. I use the Basimilus Iteritas Alter and Manis Iteritas in the rack, sequenced by the Syntakt, that also has a baseline on track 11."

Kinesis comprises an arsenal of organic grooves, snappy generative arpeggios, evolving sequences and lush ambient pads, several of which employ Hive’s special filter modes.

Most of the presets react to MIDI velocity, modulation wheel and pitch bend.

All presets include XY pad control, which not only appears in Hive’s XY panel, but also in Hive’s preset browser (as a row of 8 knobs) as well as on NKS hardware.

Our favourite heavenly delay MFM2 has just taken a giant leap forward. Most obviously, we replaced the spacey 3D disk UI with a much more practical design. Less obvious is that version 2.5 is our very first product that supports CLAP (see cleveraudio.org), and more CLAP-compatibility updates are in the pipeline.

Some other improvements in MFM version 2.5
* Input section with transient control and lowpass or highpass filter
* ‘Granular’: pitch shifter, syncable to song tempo
* ‘Diffusor’: from audio smear to complex reverbs
* ‘Clipper’: output level safety option

"In this Electronic Beats Tech Talk we welcome SubMarine onto the series, a German producer operating in the field of Liquid-tinged Drum & Bass, Half Step and Bass influenced electronic music.
Here we see SubMarine walk us through his production process, which usually makes it start in the FL Studio DAW to create his signature raw, snappy drum breaks. He also works with an amalgamation of soft synths, both integral to FL Studio and third party plug-ins like Serum, to create the textural atmospherics, gnarly bass lines and hazy chords heard in his music. Out of the box SubMarine makes use of the drumming skills developed in his childhood, recording his own percussion to later process, as well as utilising hardware such as Elektron’s Analog Heat and a vintage custom pedal handed down from his father. Check the video for a more complete glimpse into the approach of this talented figure in the contemporary Drum & Bass / Bass scene."

Here I demonstrate Patches 33 to 64 (of 128)

It's been a while since I sat down with the Novation PEAK and decided to make Zenith Vol 3, which also works for the Novation Summit. Again, another 128 Patches, however with Vol 2 I concentrated on using the additional Wavetables for the Patches, so had a more "Digital" edge, however with Vol 3, I've just made Patches that I want to hear, play and put into Music.

There's Analog Pads, Poly's, lots of Motion Pads and Stringers. Plenty of Bass & Lead and some beautiful Digital Soundscapes. All 128 Patches have Animate Buttons assigned, often to multiple parameters, as well as Aftertouch and Mod Wheel.

They are compatible with the latest Firmware from Novation (V2.1)"
