"In this video, Julian "J3PO" Pollack demos the 40 presets included in the "J3PO Super 6 Presets" library. 40 patches for the UDO Super 6. The price is $29 and you can purchase these presets from www.j3po.net

For the recording of this video, the UDO Super 6 was connected directly to a UA Apollo, recorded straight to Pro Tools. All FX (chorus, delay) you hear are coming from within the synth itself. Some compression and general leveling was applied for the purpose of uploading to YouTube.

The Super 6 is a 12-voice polyphonic, binaural analog-hybrid synthesizer. A harmonious marriage of state of the art FPGA digital hardware oscillators and voltage controlled analog technology. It is flexible, immediate, powerful and refined with a gorgeous analog tone. Rich and evolving textures are easily teased from the unique super-wavetable core and can be shaped and manipulated with the binaural analog signal path and flexible modulation. Robust, compact and inviting to pick up and play with smooth, solid and responsive controls throughout, it cries out to be played."

"Here's a playhrough of 38 patches from Luftrum 27 for Arturia MatrixBrute. A classic soundset in the vein of previous Luftrum numbered releases, it fuses retro analog colors with cutting edge modern timbres.

This was recorded during the course of the day, so you'll see the transformation as it gradually gets darker with the approach of evening. All sounds in the vid are straight out of the MatrixBrute, with no additional effects or external processing of any kind. Apologies for the shallow depth of field.

Totaling 80 presets by Luftrum, this set provides a well rounded mix of timeless analog emulations, as well as esoteric explorations. Think Retro 80s meets Downtempo Ambient, takes a quick dip in 90's Acid and Detroit House, and finishes with a stroll through Berlin School. Expressive sync leads, 80s inspired synthpop keys, glistening arpeggios, warm paraphonic pads, berlin-school sequences, mixed with drones, cinematic duo-split compositions, percussive loops and more.

Inspiration was drawn from synth legends such as Kraftwerk, Giorgio Moroder, Vince Clarke, Klaus Schulze, Royksopp, Le Matos, Sinioia Caves and Disasterpeace to name a few. As always, patches are volume balanced with assignments for all four macro controls plus modwheel, velocity and aftertouch.

"Whistle 2 is a physical modelling synthesizer with a banded waveguide as a resonator, disturbed with a granulated noise exciter source.

Banded waveguide synthesis is a physical modeling synthesis method that can be used to model elastic solids, like a vibraphone or a marimba. The synthesis method propagates exciter disturbances across tuned frequency bands. In whistle the amplitude and the partials of these frequency bands can be dialed in and automated.

The exciter of Whistle uses a granular engine to process the noise source. This design creates a uniquely unpredictable texture, with any tonal elements in the exciter source interacting with the resonator to create random harmonic content."
