Nicholas Semrad's UDO Super 6 Patch Set (Demo)
video upload by Nicholas Semrad
"Here is a demo video for my available-for-purchase UDO Super 6 Patch Set. You can purchase these patches at my website, www.nicholastsemrad.com/shop.
I've specifically made 48 patches for this set that I have both performed with live and recorded with.
**important note** These patches are for use EXCLUSIVELY with the UDO Super 6 Keyboard/Desktop Model and WILL NOT work with any other hardware piece/software plugins.
Enjoy! (and my apologies for the shaky keyboard stand.....I was getting too into it, I guess!!)"

The evolution: Poly Evolver upgraded encoder edition ambient soundtrack
video upload by MIDERA
"Last weekend I managed to replace every single encoder on my Poly Evolver. It has now evolved. It uses 24-detented encoders, which work much better than the originals. After 3 months of ownership my encoders that I applied deoxit to, needed it again. I wasn’t going to keep going with that so I bought the encoders and replaced them all.
Day 1: This took me 7 hours to complete. Not only did I take forever, I managed to ruin two pads in the process and panicked about it. I managed to repair the leads, thankfully, but it was a terrible experience, most of which happened within the first hour of work. I knew I still needed to do the rest of that board and the other two boards. This board was the right most board. It was also the hardest because of the 16 step sequencer section which had LEDs right next to the encoders.
Day 2: This took me 3 hours to complete. There were no issues.
Day 3: This took me 1.5 hours to complete. This was the left-most board. The problem with this board was that once I reinstalled it – a few of the encoders didn’t work. I panicked and took the board out and found all of the traces to be intact. I plugged it in again and they still didn’t work. It turns out these were the encoders that only worked when oscillators 3 and 4 were pressed. So obviously they didn’t work.
Was it worth the effort? I don’t know. I still feel like I have too many synths and this is just another one. It sounds really good, it does – but when you have so many, and have so many that sound so good, it is hard to justify everything I do have. It sounds so close to the Matrix 1000 – but yet, I find myself still believing that is one of my favorite sounding synths :/ And the lack of 6 voices makes the PE just a little underwhelming in that sense. But either way, I hope you enjoy my first noodling with it after the evolution."

"Tripped on a really great patch which incorporates a Mutable Rings as the sounding module, and Mutable Beads which made it magic. Enjoy"
"That Moment" (Weird DnB With Elektron Gear)
video upload by Electronisounds Audio
Recording Date: 05/07/2023
Tempo: 175bpm
Key: C minor
The actual recording of this track is loud, crisp, clean and punchy.
On YT, it sounds so quiet and squishy and horrendous... OMG...

Taste the Analog Rainbow! // An intro to the Farbfilters from Making Sound Machines
video upload by DivKid
"READ THE RAINBOW //
Anyone ever wish their bright coloured teeth rotting treats were actually lovely characterful analog flavours of audio processing for you Eurorack system? Just me?
Here we have the Farbfilter series of modules from Making Sound Machines. The range includes the Farbfilter (Moog LPF + overdrive), Farbfolder (west coast classic wavefolding), Farbshaper (an absolute character machine) and the Farb Highpass (Moog style HPF + tilt EQ).
This video is an introduction to the range with a patch on each modules and some good fun bum wiggling patching with them create a thick and animated stereo image at the end.
As this is an introduction to the modules and we have plans for a future in depth demo (in my usual styley) you have the chance to ask questions, make requests and comments to say what you’d like to see and hear in the demo. Leave a comment below to get involved.

Prophet 5 Shootout: Softube, Repro-5, Arturia vs a Prophet 5 Rev4
video upload by Starsky Carr
"Get ready for a geekfeist. Softube Model 80 and U-He Repro-5 are the two main contenders for the Prophet 5 Rev3 plugin crown, while the Arturia Prophet 5V is carrying the flag for the rarer Prophet 5 Rev 2. There are minor differences in the 2 models - the filter and envelope responses are different, but they all sound like Prophets.
BUT... which is best for you. They all do slightly different things and approach emulations in their own way."
