JP8 lower split audio path is: Radial Isolator = Chandler Germanium Pre Amp Di = Chandler Tone control, Chandler 500 series Opto Compressor = Api Box Line Level = SSL 611 mk2

JP8 higher split audio path is: Radial Isolator = Api Box Di = Neve 1073 EQ = Eventide 2016 Reverb

Master Bus: Api Box = SSL Fusion = Tegeler Creme = Lynx Aurora N SD card.

Midi sequencing for some patches done with Bastl Midi looper.

Video and audio mastered in Davinci Resolve using Fab Filter Pro Q3 and Fab Filter Pro L2 for each patch.

All images are shot in 8K HDR at 60p on a Nikon Z9. Lenses used are a Nikkor Z 20mm and Nikkor Z 40mm.

This journey is not just about the destination - the creation of a track - but also about my personal challenge to master the minimalist ethos of techno: the principle that 'less is more'. As someone who typically gets swept away by the allure of complex melodies, the stripped-back nature of minimal techno has always been an enigma, a puzzle that I've long wanted to solve.
