Exploration Of The EMS Synthi A
video upload by PanicGirlVids
"In this video I'm taking you along while I explore the EMS Synthi A. What a beautiful synthesizer this is, both visually and sonically 😍 I still have to get used to the matrix patching, but I'm getting there slowly but steady. Expect more explorations coming your way soon!
The beautiful backgrounds sounds are from a jam with my dear from Anatol, with whom I also play as Lucid Grain: https://lucidgrain.bandcamp.com/album...
Thanks for watching and see you soon!"
Facehugger function generator - 3 patterns in one switch
video upload by flightofharmony
"Testing the prototype and found this unexpected trick: switching the Polarity/Direction toggle switch to change the patterns.
• Output to Infernal Noise Machine VCO CV Input.
• Length switch is set to 4.
• Up (far right) sets the output to positive-only, moving left to right.
• Up/Up (middle) sets the output to bipolar, moving left to right.
• Up/Down sets the output to bipolar and reverses the direction, moving right to left. If you use an external signal, it reverses direction when the input signal is negative.
Preorders for the Facehugger are open now! https://flightofharmony.com/facehugge..."
27- The Arturia MiniFreak- LFOs
video upload by AutomaticGainsay
"Here is a demonstration of the sound and functionality of the LFOs found on the Arturia MiniFreak.
The theme was created out of presets and crafted patches over an assemblage of fragments of GarageBand loops. For all intents and purposes, it is a MiniFreak-Only composition."

Behringer Teases New POLYSOURCE & BX700 Synths
Details via Behringer
"So Marc, one of our mad product designers, asked me to show his PolySource draft to you, which is inspired by the Moog Source. He stands right behind me and said he won’t leave the office until I have posted it as he wants to read your feedback over the weekend.
Marc is actually a pretty cool guy who was deeply involved in the PRO-800. Before I press the send button he said 'tell the folks we could make this bad boy also with 8 analog voices, full patch memory and for the same price as the PRO-800.'
So what do you want to tell Marc? Go or no-go?"
"What a crazy Friday. Can you believe that after Marc left the office, our other obsessed product magician Miguel quietly tapped me on my shoulder and handed me this synth prototype.
He said 'you need to know that this synth is on no roadmap, no business plan and even Uli doesn’t know about it. I have designed this in my spare time and I just wanted to share this secretly with you.
It’s a DX7 on steroids as it has an authentic CS-80 analog filter, a drum machine built in and a few other cool features.'
I promised Miguel to keep it confidential so when I share this with you, make sure you don’t share it with anyone else, otherwise I’ll be in big trouble.
We promise to never make this synth as the world surely doesn’t need another DX7, or does it?"

Bad Gear - Casio RZ1
video upload by AudioPilz
"Welcome to Bad Gear, the show about the world's most hated audio tools. Today we are going to talk about the Casio RZ-1. Is this classic 80s drum machine and sampler the holy grail for nailing the vintage sound of early De La Soul (Three Feet High and Rising), Wu Tang Clan (The RZA), Daft Punk and the Chemical Brothers or is it just a corny lofi beats maker? Can it stand it's ground when compared to the Roland TR-707 or lofi sampler instruments like the Roland SP-202 or Roland SP-303?
Thanks to Levni for lending me this beautiful antique:
