Demo ONE - 90s House Dream - Novation Circuit Tracks Pack by Yves Big City
video upload by Isotonik Studios
AVAILABLE HERE: https://isotonikstudios.com/product/9...
"Step into the rhythm and soul of an era with the "90s House Dream" sound pack, a curated collection that pays homage to the golden era of house music. This pack takes you on a journey back to the Summer of Love and the hallowed halls of the Hacienda, where legends were made and the house beat was born.
The Birth of a Movement: A Story of Rhythm and Unity
In the heart of the 90s, the Hacienda became a beacon of musical innovation. It was here, amidst the ecstasy of the Summer of Love, that house music found its heartbeat. This sound pack weaves the tale of this vibrant era, capturing the essence of the legends who shaped the sounds of the dance floor.
Featuring Tracks Inspired by House Music Icons
The soulful chords in this collection echo the deep, emotive style of artists like Frankie Knuckles, whose mastery at the turntables earned him the title "Godfather of House."
The deep, emotive leads resonate with the artistic spirit of Larry Heard, also known as Mr. Fingers. His innovative approach to deep house brought a level of sophistication and emotion to the genre, elements that are carefully replicated in these sounds.
In the experimental sounds of the pack, the influence of Kevin Saunderson is evident. His blending of techno with house pushed the boundaries of what the genre could be, a legacy that lives on in the innovative sounds of this collection.

Cabinet Simulator
video upload by Happy Nerding
"'Cabinet Simulator' effect added to the Shaper section.
Video shows parameter settings to be equal to the Big Sky's Cabinet filter. But all three controls can be adjusted to the desired amount of High, Mid and Low frequencies.
2xSAM is used to bring the modular levels down, so as not to overload the Big Sky, and bring it back to be the same volume as FX AID."
Towering Bass Patches | Gyrinx VCF Filter [Demo 5]
video upload by gstormelectro
"Audio + Video by G-Storm Electro c. 2023
Today I'm auditioning a few humongous bass patches featuring the Gyrinx VCF, no effects. Feeding only a couple of 101-VCOs and Pittsburgh DNA Symbiotic Waves. Modulation by 2xADSR and Feedback Modules LFO, Sequenced by Keystep Pro. Headphones or good monitors recommended. Recorded direct to Tascam DR-05, no other mastering just a little normalization.
Gyrinx VCF is a eurorack filter inspired by the vintage Synton Syrinx filter section using Alfa AS3350 chips. Check my Reverb store for Gyrinx-VCF availability" *BLOG* http://gstormelectronica.blogspot.com/

Korg Polysix (1981)
video upload by Ticco Ross
"Korg PolySix Custom White with Reverse Keys:
The Korg Polysix is a vintage analog polyphonic synthesizer that was first introduced in 1981.
Korg developed the Polysix with an eye on the Sequential Circuits Prophet 5, trying to provide some of the features found on the more expensive synth in a compact, reliable and much cheaper design.
With one oscillator per voice and six voices, SSM2044 4-pole voltage-controlled filters, unique Korg VCO design, awesome envelopes and analog effects, the Polysix sounds fantastic.
The white panel of this Polysix was made by synthronics.de and the inverted keys come from a pair of Korg Poly 800, although the origin of those original Korg grey knobs remains a mystery to me."

New Eurorack Distortion - December 2023 edition
video upload by John Schussler
"New month, new modules.
This month, distortion!
Some are tube, some aren't. It's a mixed bag. But it's interesting to hear tube up against diode to remember how the vibe changes. There are some here that are warm and fuzzy, and others that clearly just want to rip off your ears and throw them in a blender.
So don't crank your volume right away...you'll find out the hard way that I've put no limiting on the audio here....

Demon Seed - Noise Apocalypse
video upload by circuitbenders.co.uk
"Every year we make a pedal to donate to the raffle prize fund for the local Christmas Covers Southsea gig, where various idiots play ridiculous cover versions to raise money for Rowans Hospice and Music Fusion. This year its the Demon Seed!
The circuitbenders.co.uk Demon Seed is a fuzz / distortion / frequency shifting / 8-bit / lo-fi / filth pedal that makes noise in industrial quantities more than sufficient to made deaf people weep.
It utilises the Holtek HT8950 voice changer chip that was designed specifically for use in toy robot voice changer megaphones. The HT8950 converts the analogue guitar signal to 8-bit digital, applies 6 selectable types of frequency shifting or a weird robot arpeggio effect, and then converts the digital signal back to analogue again.
Before someone points it out, yes this pedal was to some degree inspired by the excellent Death By Audio 'Robot' pedal, but with the addition of several features that the HT8950 chip offers but the Robot pedal doesn't use. The Robot is the original HT8950 pedal. All hail Death By Audio!
This demo was recorded using just the Demon Seed pedal and and a clean amp simulator. You'll have to forgive the inability to play the guitar.
We may well have some of these available in the new year."
KeyStep Pro - What's new in the 2.5 firmware update (and how do you use it)?
video upload by Oscillator Sink
"The version 2.5 firmware for the KeyStep Pro brings with it a number of useful enhancements to the controller, including per-pattern program change messages.
In this video I'll run through each of the upgrades, demonstrate how they work and clarify what's the difference between the Chroma and original versions.
Transparency notice: Arturia kindly provided the KeyStep Pro Chroma for free for the purposes of making this and other videos. I was not otherwise paid and Arturia did not request, nor were they given any editorial oversight.
