Formant arpeggios patch breakdown: a classic Falistri patch!
video upload by Frap Tools
"Arpeggios without an arpeggiator? That's no magic, just the power of sub-harmonics!
We've been doing this patch for quite some time now, but we never released a complete, step-by-step tutorial on YouTube.
By using Falistri as a frequency divider, we can obtain perfect intervals in the minor scale by sweeping the rising and falling stages. It's roughly the same principle as Oskar Sala's Mixturtrautonium!

1010music nanobox | razzmatazz + Alesis SP4
video upload by 1010music
"The World’s Juiciest Groovebox
This video covers the steps to trigger the razzmatazz from a compact multi-trigger pad. The pad used in this video is an Alesis SamplePad 4 but the principles here apply to any percussion triggering pad or brain.
Video Outline:
1:00 Configure MIDI input
1:10 Triggering one-shots
1:27 Mapping velocity to pitch
2:15 Triggering slices
2:50 Start & stop clips
3:45 Capturing MIDI to the sequencer
Create the juiciest beats and tastiest rhythms with nanobox | razzmatazz, a mini drum sequencer that combines powerful FM synthesis and sampling. Featuring advanced voice architecture, razzmatazz puts a huge range of percussive sounds at your fingertips—from deep and gritty kick drums to searing snare hits and crisp hi-hats. Perform using 8 touchscreen pads or your favorite midi controller, and craft up to 16 rhythms using an innovative visual sequencer that allows you to see all pad states and steps simultaneously. Shape the sound of each pad by combining any variation of two FM oscillators and a WAV file—plus two filters, two envelopes, a resonator, a snap generator, and three additional effects. You can even choose from four unique types of distortion to create incredibly distinct and powerful drum sounds. Enjoy massive analog drum sounds and an innovative feature set, all in a compact package that goes anywhere."
Hydrasynth from Beautiful to Harsh

"Using the mutants to create some very harsh sounds and also to subtly add some noise to some beautiful pad sounds. Filmed on my new Sony ZV-E10 (well 2nd hand for a great price) & Sigma 16mm 1.4 lens.

Twisted Electrons TherapSID Presets DEMO - 100 Brand New Sounds
video upload by Sonic Freaks
"100 Brand New Presets designed by Sonic Freaks.
The presets are available here: https://www.sonicfreaks.com/shop/ther...
The presets are compatible with the Twisted Electrons TherapSID mk2 and mk3.
The preset demo was made in Logic Pro X.
The Twisted Electrons TherapSID was directly recorded via an Antelope Audio Orion 32 Gen 3+.
Half way every preset we added a bit of reverb to give the sound a bit of depth. We used the Chase Bliss CXM1978.
No other processing was done other then decreasing the stereo width of the Twisted Electrons TherapSID because in some occasions the sound became out of phase. I also added a noise gate because my SID chips are a bit noisy due to there age."
Rhyme and Rebus
video upload by Robin Rimbaud-Scanner
"One small synthesiser. One guitar pedal.
Recorded in a wooden fisherman’s hut in Captiva, Florida.
As simple as that, at heart.
Back in 2017, I spent six weeks on this isolated island, at the invitation of the Robert Rauschenberg Residency. This is an interdisciplinary artists' residency programme, based on Rauschenberg's belief that art can change the world, nurture and facilitate experimentation, collaboration and innovation.
In the morning, I worked on a book I’ve been writing, then in the afternoon I recorded, every day, for the duration. The results are this series of serene and fluid soundscapes, where I used only the Kilpatrick Phenol synth and an Eventide H9 effects pedal.
The surrounding landscape remains crucial, with osprey, woodpeckers and pelicans accompanying some pieces. Life literally outside the window!
It’s a muted, mediative collection of works, cosy, shimmering and hypnotic. Two pulsing dubbed out works take a darker grainy direction, but overall, it’s an ambient, sunlit bliss-out session.
This was filmed on a GoPro camera in Captiva Florida in March 2017

Mos-lab 2500 - 1036 Random
video uploads by batchas
"One 1004-P VCO sent to one 1006 Filter/VCA.
I’m using the 1036 S&H clock output to clock the 1027 Sequencer and to gate the 1046 Env. Generator.
I added a small external circuit to be able to do that, transforming a trig into a gate, cause the clock signal of the 1036 is a trig, not sufficient to trig an envelope for instance.
On this external circuit I’m also adding the possibility to use the 1027 main clock while set to external mode. Knowing that in external mode, the clock out of the 1027 is deactivated. Meaning I can have 2 extra clock signals (normal and also inverted to clock between steps) while the pulse width of the 1027 clock is been modulated."
