"The Ult Sound DS-4 is a legendary (and rare!) analog drum synthesizer produced in late 70's Japan, made famous by the likes of YMO and other Japanese synth pop artist of the era. Now available once again with the addition of midi and CV/Gate per channel in the form of the DS-4m.

Here it is being sequenced by a pair of Korg SQ-1 step sequencers for some poly rhythmic pitch and gate control.

"The UDO Super Gemini came into my life in 2024, and it has firmly found its place as my favourite instrument in my studio.

So much so that James (keys player) and I thought we'd put together a short demo... the first we've ever done for any instrument.

I've created a bunch of custom patches, nostalgic and cinematic, for the Gemini (also compatible with the Super 8). I'll be releasing them as a preset pack soon. All patches are only utilising a SINGLE layer of the Gemini... imagine what can be achieved by combining patches on both layers.
