Minimal Audio Current: Dark Ambient Cinematic Presets Demo
video upload by Anton Anru
Minimal Audio Current 'Dystopian Soundscapes' is a collection of 50 atmospheric presets that evoke the feel of dark sci-fi soundtracks, dystopian films, thrillers, games, and dystopian novels. The soundset includes: 12 Pads, 8 Strings, 6 Drones, 7 Keys, 8 Synths, 9 Textures.
🎆 Get the soundset: https://bit.ly/3MTxpdH
🧬 Exploring this relatively new plugin was a fascinating experience, and I was thoroughly impressed with its capabilities. The sampler and granular engines, outstanding effects quality, and extensive wavetable synthesis options played a pivotal role in shaping this sound bank.
🗃 Each preset in this collection has a cohesive style, blending noise, distortion, and vintage tape emulation, striking a balance between experimental elements and playable, accessible sounds. The pack includes atonal sounds, drones, and textures perfect for creating tension and suspense. The core of the collection consists of atmospheric sounds, ranging from soft, expansive, and lush to bright, shimmering, distorted, orchestral, vintage, and more.
🧿 These presets are versatile and can be used in any genre where a dark atmosphere is essential, such as techno, ambient, IDM, industrial, drum and bass, and others. This collection is also an invaluable resource for soundtrack composers, game developers, audiobook producers, video creators, advertisers, and social media content creators.
🎚 Each preset is carefully programmed, with dozens of modulations, velocity settings, mod wheel mappings, and macros, providing a wide range of expressive and creative possibilities.
🎛 The macros are a significant part of the soundset. They can change tone, stereo width, modulation depth and rate, noise level, distortion, detuning, space/echo/reverb, effects mix, envelope parameters, and others.
You may control them via MIDI controller, use them for automation, or map the macros to your DAW modulators like LFO, Shaper, and others.
💡 Ensure that you are using the latest plugin version.
Installation:
Open the plugin. Push Menu -> Show User Presets. You will see a folder with the plugin banks of presets. Put the folder "Anton Anru - Dystopian Soundscapes" here.
Open the plugin again. Push Menu -> Rescan Presets Folders. You will see the new soundset in the plugin, both in the Steam Tab (Local) and in the upper presets bar.
In case you don't see the new soundset, relaunch the plugin.

This cover song series contains my own recreations of my favourite songs from the last 50 years. The original music from which I take inspiration belong to their respective owners. I recreate tracks only for personal passion and to pay homage to these tracks.
My intention is not to create covers that sound exactly like the original (if you want to hear identical sounds, please listen the original). It's more of an inspiration with my sounds from the old synthesizers from the past and of course the great appreciation for the original performers and producers."

VERMONA eurorack Session With BASS-DRUM Modules & mode
video upload by vermonagear
"Here is our Eurorack demo setup for @RomaModulare. The Italian modular and synth event takes place on September 27th and 28th.
Here is a patch we made with the 2 × 104 HP modular system. We installed two of the upcoming BASS-DRUM modules as well as meloDICER for melody generation and fourMULATOR and randomRHYTHM for modulation and rhythm parts.
There’s also a uniCYCLE oscillator, a twinVCFilter and a twinVCAmp for creating bass lines.
Enjoy this little performance and if you’re in Rome, don’t hesitate to stop by at Roma Modulare and say hello. We are looking forward to beautiful soundscapes, great conversations, meeting old friends and making new ones!

Exploring the Mutable Rings Reverb Patch
video upload by Travis Kennedy
"Rings is still one of the most well known modules in all of Eurorack. The problem: I don’t think enough people are exploring its resonator audio input. This input opens up a world of processing options, including using Rings like a reverb. Or a delay. Or even a flanger.
Here is my attempt at giving people a different patch to try with Rings.
Basic Rings Reverb Patch:
Send sound sources to Rings input (use it like a send effect)
Frequency at minimum
Damping from 4-5 o’clock (max out for “infinite” reverb)
Structure, brightness, and position to taste (I like to start at noon)
Treat the even and odd outputs like a stereo output
This video is not intended to be a guide. It’s more of a patch exploration with a few small bits of wisdom that I feel are worth sharing scattered throughout.
Do I think Rings is worthy of being the only reverb in a system? No.
But this patch does get new sounds out of a module that many people have already. And it sounds cool, especially in a sparse mix."

"This is the first demo of Soundpack 6 'SUICIDIA' with 50 (!!!) new performances I have designed for the Korg Wavestate.
No external effects were used in the demos. All effects are internal effects of the Wavestate. No other hardware was used. No compressor, no limiter, no equalizer, nothing, but the pure Wavestate.
No additional samples are required ! Purely the factory samples were used. You don´t have to download gigabytes of sample-content and don´t need any samples complicated to install. Just import the new performances in 10 seconds via Korg´s free 'librarian' soundmanager and play instantly the new sounds.
All in all there are 50 (!!!) performance patches in the package with all sounds of relaxation, grainy drones, organic textures and deep pads.I designed all the sounds myself.
If you´re interested in the Soundpack 6 "SUICIDIA" with 50 (!!!) patches, please send me an email (xu.sounddesign@gmx.net). Please check your spam-folder."
