Moogseum Window Install Timelapse After Hurricane Helene

"Seven weeks after Hurricane Helene ripped our awning frame and cloth awning off our our building, causing both to crash into our window which broke into several places, we were finally able to get the window replaced. During the interim, the Moogseum has been boarded up, and hasn't looked very inviting. We are thrilled to have made the first step to bringing the Moogseum's exterior back to its original condition, as seen in this time lapse. The awning will be replaced in the next month or two.

Please consider supporting the Moogseum as we continue to navigate the long-term effects of Helene, which have resulted in more than $35,000 in lost income to date, with more expected by the end of the year.

In recent years, drum tuning has undergone a renaissance. Devices like TuneBot and apps like iDrumTunePro have given drummers more precision and insight when tuning their drums. Youtube is filled with videos relating to drum tuning, and this has helped demystify it. And while it is certainly true that you do not need to tune your drums to notes to fit the key of your track, many people feel that doing this can give an extra musical edge to a production.

Thus, the idea to sample a full drum kit at multiple different tunings was born. Soniccouture Tonal Drums does exactly that - the result a painstaking recording session where each piece of the kit was carefully tuned to a note, sampled in detail with plenty of articulations + velocity layers, then retuned to the next note and the process repeated.
