Korg multi/poly Analog Modeling Synth: First Look!

"The latest Korg R&D synth—the Korg multi/poly—just dropped outta nowhere, and I was lucky enough to snag one in stock (thanks, Zzounds!). Let's take a look and listen to this super-interesting, super-fun, badass monster synth. In this video, I'm mostly talking about what's new and different vis-a-vis Korg wavetate and modwave. We'll surely be doing more videos about this thing in the future. And, OF COURSE, you can use KRC Mathwaves with it, 'cuz wavetables. Grab your waveshaper and get ready for some virtual-voice-cards-a-go-go virtual analog goodness! (Spoiler alert: My quick review is this synth is rad.)"

minimalism for modular #4: sample + hold + phase

"Tiny changes over time are essential to minimalist (and ambient) pieces. This video demonstrates how to create gradually evolving sequences with a sequencer and a “sample and hold” that are NOT perfectly synchronized. Any sequencer and “sample and hold” will work! Detailed patch notes included.
The piano multisample is Alexander Holm's Salamander Grand Piano, downsized by j_e_f_f_g. I have reformatted the filenames so they work on a Disting - you can download them free from:

"A valiant attempt from the humble AY3-8910 and YM2149 at pulling off part of the Sanxion loader music from the Commodore 64. Written in 1984 by Rob Hubbard for the SID chip.
Quick demo of a couple of new modules built around the relics that are the AY and YM. With support from some real SID drums to drive it. It's not a bad attempt.
Two three voice stacks. No vca/vcf support modules.
AY does the bass and additional noise percussion.
YM runs the melody and hops over to the bass line to follow the AY and prevent it from droning when it would be technically idle if i had a vca in line..
The internal modulators can be used to generate a kind of 'SID voice', but in this limited hook up they're not used here.
Will probably revisit it when my rig is free and i can be bothered to figure out all the bendy bits of the lush melodic part about a third of the way into the original 🙂🕹📺🔥"

"MOOG Prodigy MK2 MKII recently serviced by a specialized technician.
As you can see from the photo, it is an MK2 because it has an S-Trig input for remote control (also via midi with an adapter).
The Moog Prodigy is a monophonic analog synthesizer produced between 1979 and 1984, known for its simplicity, accessibility and characteristic warm and powerful sound. It is equipped with two oscillators that generate square and sawtooth waves, a resonant low-pass filter and a modulation section that allows you to create dynamic and rich sounds.
Despite being a relatively simple synthesizer compared to more complex Moog models, the Prodigy has a versatile sound range, used in genres such as rock, synth-pop and electronic music. "For sale the Roland MKS-70 Analog synthesizer from the 80s, including one memory card (M-64C) and three original voice cards.
The synth is in very good condition for its age.
It has been upgraded with the Vecoven (ver. 4.16) PWM modification and the PSU has been recaped/rebuild.
There are some minor scratches on the frond panel and bit of rackrash (check pictures) otherwise functional condition is perfect and display is quite bright."
