Strobos – Preset Walkthrough (Soundset for Bazille)
video upload by u-he
"Strobos showcases Bazille's talent for creating complex movements. We asked six top sound designers (including our own Viktor and Howard) to contribute different flavours of ‘motion’: Bass riffs, layered melodies, swirling effects, percussion loops – even a classic analogue drum machine clone or two! All patches are ready to be tweaked, played, recorded, and then sliced and diced as you see fit.

Sound morphing with Electra One /w Rhodes Chroma
video upload by Electra One MIDI Controller
"A demonstration of discovering new sounds using the Electra One's snapshot morphing and randomization features.
This functionality will be available in the upcoming Electra One firmware version 4.0.
The demonstration showcases the powerful capabilities of the mighty Rhodes Chroma. I intentionally made the Patch Algorithm parameter part of the sound morphing to achieve more dramatic changes in the sound while morphing and randomizing."

Create a fat sounding analog synth bass with the HELL MODULAR SYNTHESIZER (5U size)
video upload by Cornel Hecht
"I use two oscillators playing at the same pitch but with a slight detuning (±5 to ±15 cents) against each other. This creates a chorus effect that broadens the sound. The resonant low-pass filter emphasizes the low frequencies."
TR909 Separate Outputs ... plus other corrections
video upload by Starsky Carr
"Following up from my Roland TR909, TR-09 and Behringer RD-9 comparison. [see this post] Some people mentioned it was worth looking at the difference the separate outputs made on the 909 hand how the mix summed things differently. Also, the RD-9 kick weirdly sounded a bit odd when I played it via the trigger pad, but sounded fine when playing in a pattern.
So I've come to redress things I noticed when trying their recommendations. They were right.. comments are cool, and it's nice to see a great community spirit."
What ELSE can the 303 do?
video upload by William Jacobs
"The Roland TB-303 is maybe the best example of musicians finding inventive new uses for a synth - they took a failed bass machine, got creative and invented acid house. So why don't we invent even more uses for it?
